I’m very disappointed with my recent experience at KFC in Brampton on Cherrycrest.

I had the option of ordering through Uber Eats, but instead I decided to drive to the restaurant with my two nephews and my brother because we were craving fresh food.
While placing our order, I clearly and repeatedly requested that the food be made fresh and mentioned that we were willing to wait. I specifically told the staff member taking our order that we wanted everything freshly prepared. She assured me that the chicken was fresh and that the sandwiches would be coming out shortly.
However, by the time we filled our drinks and sat down, our order was already ready. That immediately raised concerns. When we received the food, it was only warm, as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp — not hot and freshly made as requested.
When I went back to address the issue, the employee who took our order had already left, and another staff member was unsure how to handle the situation. The experience was frustrating, especially considering the total came to $87. Unfortunately, we ended up throwing away nearly half of the food because it was not up to standard.
If a customer specifically requests fresh food and is willing to wait, that request should be respected. Even at the drive-through, customers are sometimes asked to park while fresh food is prepared — the same consideration should apply inside the restaurant.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I hope it can be addressed to prevent it from happening to others.

I waited 20 mins in drive thru for below par food. I would not recommend anyone go to this location. Every time I have been here, the wait time is extremely long for "fast food ".
