Leanne is an amazing server and very friendly. My son who is 5 loves coming for the Shirley temples and the treasure chest. My husband and I love the chicken and the great, family feeling atmosphere.

Food was delivered to a hotel on the same street..delivery was good. When the order was taken the question about.do you need salt pepper etc..customer answered put everything in ..the order was for 2 people ..no butter .1 fork for 1 person .nothing else ..this was literally Finger food for Garden vegetables .gravy on meat to be cut up and no napkins ..I am really disappointed ..because the person in the phone heard the utensils etc were needed as the order was going to a hotel. .other swiss chalets wouldn't make that error in judgement

Two of us went here for a birthday meal (we never shared it was a birthday). I'll admit that I personally haven't been to this location before. I also didn't take any photos. First, we ordered water. I was surprised there was no lemon with the water. I would have asked, but it has always been in classic Swiss chalet style to serve a lemon with the water. The food was mid at best. He had a chicken wrap with fries, and had to ask twice for extra sauce (that's fine). The sauce itself was where my sticking point was. It was overly gelatinous. It isn't meant to be super thick, it's supposed to run off your fries and be a delightful liquid. He had been there earlier in the week and his wrap was considerably more generous. The sauce was also better during the week. I had a baked potato and decided to stray from my typical chicken dinner by ordering the quesadilla. It was dry, sad, unfilled, and lacked any genuine flavour. I ended up covering it in swiss chalet sauce, and due to it being overly gelatinous, just ended up being more of another layer than actually soaking into the food. So it was still dry. The sour cream and salsa did little to assist. My baked potato tasted akin to those I make in the microwave. The dessert was fine, and I'm sure it is because it is a generic apple pie that is common to all stores as it is likely frozen. Overall, I'm glad I was able to use scene points to offset the cost. I didn't mention anything to the server, I didn't think she could do much about dry food and unusual Swiss chalet sauce, nor did I feel their day needed to be dampened by my concerns. All in all, I would need to have a genuine motivator to return, and perhaps I would only return on a weekday, as that seems to be when the better staff are cooking. The restaurant appears to be going through a small identity crisis, but I'm going to say that's a corporate thing. It was nice and clean in the booth. The temperature inside was absolutely fantastic.
