  So I ordered a take out order for my wife and I. I got the1 pc fish with garlic mashed + the coleslaw. My wife got a burger and fries( and we both got gravy on the side). Now we've been dining at Montana's for at least 10-15 years and pretty much always had great food. Lately though the quality and consistency is going down! Quality care seems to be losing more and more! When we got home my fish was coiled up in a roll like sushi and it was greasy, soggy and tasted like old grease not fish!! Also there was almost no fish inside the batter! The mashed potatoes tasted like they were in thier fridge for 3 days! Gravy had a burned taste and the coleslaw wasn't even close to being fresh (tasted like it was made a week prior). My wife said her burger tasted like it was pre cooked than warmed up later when the order was placed! Her fries were fine! Just overall a really bad experience this time, almost like someone who didn't know what they were doing was in the kitchen.....c'mon Montana's your supposed to be better than this!

  Serving is no easy job, especially when you have a table of 9 teenage girls! However Katie absolutely took one for the team and was the best server I've ever had. She was very patient when things got chaotic sometime with the charger amongst the table, made sure everyone was happy, refilled our drinks without us needing to ask every single TIME! 2/9 girls were celiac and she made sure their food went with the restrictions had. She was especially kind to our birthday girl making sure she had the best birthday ever. Katie was incredible, with us 100% coming back to Montana's in the near future.

  I came in after a recent family death. I was depressed and at my worst. Montanas made me forget about it all. I was no longer worried about being left out of my grandpas will and being vanished from my family. I was indulged in the amazing food and 10/10 food, and amazing service. My server was named Eric, and he has eyes as brown as the dirt in the ground, he was polite, kind, and professional. He wiped my tears off of my face when I began to cry after taking a bite of the spinach dip. He told me that “everything would be okay, and not to worry” as he walked away. When it was all said and done. I left with a kiss from Eric and a bunch of leftovers. Made my day. And there is certainly something special in that Eric kid, he’s going places.

  We went to celebrate my sister’s birthday and there was 10 of us. I made a reservation and they said it that wouldn’t be a problem! When we got there we waited about 15 minutes. Then we ordered our food and it came the brisket on a bun with fries. It was not that great and not much meat on it! My husband had the ribs and he ordered the whole rack so he’d have some left over and he was very disappointed in them and convinced someone else to take the ones he had left home with them. Very disappointed with the whole meal! Montana’s used to be a great place to eat but I know 10 people that won’t be returning!! The Waiter was good unfortunately the food wasn’t!

  Been a while since we ate there but my mom, who was having her 80th birthday that day wanted to celebrate there. Tried to book over the phone but was told it was a no-go. Took a chance and came in anyway and very glad we did! Met at the door and explained how we were told on phone we couldn't book ahead and were told a 30-40 min wait was expected. I mentioned to the door server, Ella I believe, and she promised to do her best. Seated in just over 10 min. Amazing! Wonderful, tasty food, fresh and hot with great portions. Our server was topnotch as well. Thanks to the staff for making mom's night. Especially to Ella, who understands service and making the customer a priority! Give that girl a raise! Recommended and will return soon. Thanks!
