  I went in for takeout and ordered a quarter chicken meal, when I opened the box I was extremely disappointed. The fries were really soggy and the chicken was the smallest piece of chicken they could’ve given me. There was no meat on the chicken at all. All bones and fat. Complete rip off. Don’t waste your money.

  Went to Swiss chalet for a family reunion supper and we got Christine as our server. She treated our whole family as if we were old friends, she was kind and attentive. Christine never missed a beat and our family get together was made better because of her. She deserves a raise. The food was delicious and the two for one dinner deal on Tuesday couldn't be beat. 10/10

  I must admit that I wasn't really a Swiss Chalet fan in recent years until we stopped in one night at the south-end Barrie location. What a difference from other locations that we have frequented in recent years!.... The chicken was moist, our server (Laura P) were lovely and for the first time in like forever, we got those nostalgic finger bowls that I haven't seen since my childhood.... such a simple but wonderful touch!! Keep up the great work south-end Swiss Chalet!! We will see you again soon!!!

  Went in late for dinner. They were closing in 90 minutes. Server was pleasant (Sharon) very fast and efficient. Food was good. Can usually count on it being the same everytime. Only issue was they started cleaning around us. I understand we were in there late but there were other parts of the restaurant that could have been cleaned. Pictures will show that. Bathrooms are shared with Harvey’s but no excuse to not keep them tidy. 3 stalls had no toilet paper. Garbage over flowing and they should fix the door on one instead of putting paper in the lock. I think they have mats so the floor isn’t slippery???

  I came in with a group of 12 for dinner on Wednesday, March 18 shortly after 7:00. We were served by a young girl named Maddy C according to our bill. The restaurant was absolutely slammed, the servers were run off their feet and the food took a very long time to come out. Throughout all of this Maddy was an absolute sweetheart. Very friendly, polite and welcoming. We could tell it was a stressful shift given how busy it was and Maddy had several other duties and tables to attend to at the same time. She was absolutely lovely to have as a server and maintained grace under pressure throughout it all. The food was delicious once it finally arrived and I imagine the kitchen was under immense pressure given how busy the restaurant was so kudos to them as well. Maddy was a huge factor in our positive experience.
