  I had a great experience. The food was great and dead out in a timely manner. My server Leah was very good and made sure we had everything we needed and continued to check on us frequently.

  I came in with a group of 12 for dinner on Wednesday, March 18 shortly after 7:00. We were served by a young girl named Maddy C according to our bill. The restaurant was absolutely slammed, the servers were run off their feet and the food took a very long time to come out. Throughout all of this Maddy was an absolute sweetheart. Very friendly, polite and welcoming. We could tell it was a stressful shift given how busy it was and Maddy had several other duties and tables to attend to at the same time. She was absolutely lovely to have as a server and maintained grace under pressure throughout it all. The food was delicious once it finally arrived and I imagine the kitchen was under immense pressure given how busy the restaurant was so kudos to them as well. Maddy was a huge factor in our positive experience.

  Me and my friend hardly eat for the past 5 yeras at any Swiss Chalet restaurant because food and services are declining and even there are chairs and table available but limited crew so we have to wait longer…..March 14 we decided to try again at Barrie View Dr and it was okay though the person at the counter who greeted us look exhausted but we got seated while waiting for the person to take our orders, we are talking our bad experiences while waiting and surprised 8 minutes our order was taken….drinks and appetizer was served in 5 minutes…..our food arrived in 11 minutes. impressed coz, before it takes 1 hr or more to have all that services done and our Server checked on us about the food twice bery professional not overly friendly so we decided to give a reasonble tip we do not have cash on hand, debit but we told her we appreciate the professionalism and kindness she showed while serving all her customers for me and my friend - enjoyed that meal that night wanting to got back soon if it is Rita P. who will serve us.

  I went in with my family of 6 last night for a 1/4 chicken. Our server, Shannon, recommended that I add shrimp. Chicken was great, and shrimp delicious. Wasn’t expecting that from a chicken restaurant. Thank you Barrie South for a great dinner and to our server for the laughs and recommendation.

  Another swiss chalet that is absolutely disgusting. I have reviewed quite a few as this use to be my favorite restaurant but boy have things changed. the pricing is out of wack with that is use to be (must be bc of public company) they do not value the customer. i know the owner of the store is going to message here and say pls contact store directly but i like to do honest reviews and you get one chance with any customer. The place is filthy look at the pics with food and crap all over the floor. the service is garbage and the got my order wrong a few times here already. i will not go back. they did not have chilled glasses for beers like the other chalet's and it seems as they don't care because it probably is full all the time. IMO no excuses not the keep a clean restaurant shame on them.
