  Today I ordered two Subway sandwiches from here. The bread was very dry and hard, and I did not receive the items as ordered. I clearly requested extra sauce and extra vegetables for both subs, but neither was added. I also asked that the sub with extra jalapeños be clearly marked, but it wasn’t, which caused confusion

  The sign in the window says it opens at 9 am, it's currently 9:32 am, I just got called into work, and the doors are locked, nothing is in the oven. And there's no staff

  I’m not sure why there are only 3 stars for this location. Maybe people are confused with the location up the road by the theatre, which is horrible in every way. This location next to the Thai place and giant tiger is objectively the best one in the north end I have never had a problem. The younger girl who works there always makes amazing perfect sandwiches. Don’t skimp on toppings, it’s always clean (I have not used the bathrooms though), fast service, fresh from produce(unlike most others). The 24 hour subway on bayfield is nasty, I’ve seen extremely sick employees sweating with a fever, coughing without covering all over EVERYTHING, always dirty, produce always looks sketchy for a place that should have a high volume of product leaving if they are 24/7. I get it sometimes you can’t take the day off you need the hours, but masks are appropriate and appreciated if you are sick and working with food, specially if you have a fever (that means you are usually contagious). Also, subway took the flat bread away from Barrie but still has it other places, this is crazy because it’s arguably the healthiest and best bread you have which doesn’t make sense subway being about the”healthy choice” for a meal. Please bring flat bread back 🤷‍♂️ 🙏

  I ordered a special which was supposed to come with a 20 ounce beverage and two turtle cookies. The beverage machine was broken and there was a small selection of bottled drinks and no cookies that had been promoted with the special. The bathroom had no toilet paper and no paper hand towels. The toilet had not been cleaned in awhile and had a rim of dark sediment, like mould, at water level and around the perimeter. If you want my business start providing what you advertise and clean it up.

  Update: 06/2025 I don’t know why I keep going here, I’m not sure if it’s all subways now or just this one but sub is still doughy and I asked for it toasted.. this location cheaps out on toppings and even when you ask for the sub to be extra toasted it still comes soft and floppy, actually on that note I had the guy grill press my sub and the incompetent so called sandwich artist pressed it with the paper still under it resulting in the sandwich ripping apart on the paper. Workers literally pissing on the chain, the food is better quality than Mr sub but the end product is worse ???
