The food was excellent, the service amazing, Natalie did a wonderful job, we man food allergies and they were able to accomodate all. We would highly recommend.

- LLLaura leeJan 3, 20263.0Come here usually for a consistently positive dining experience but today was unfortunately an exception due to the poor level of attentiveness/slow service & lack of engagement from our server (Em). She took awhile to come over and take our order, didn’t really engage or offer suggestions and we basically were forgotten for the entierety of our experience. I had to wave her down to take our order AND later in our visit go find her at the bar to ask her for a drink refill. The volume of customers was heavier upon arrival but did dwindle down so this wasn’t an example of an overtly busy visit. This was not the usual state and main service experience we are accustomed to unfortunately. Presentation, Quality of food and drinks were great as always. (Sangria, Brussels sprout appetizer and club sandwiches). Atmosphere was lovely. Cleanliness of the washrooms was sub par. (Not usual). However on a positive note, the male Manager seemed to be attentive and helpful in the beginning but failed to notice when she was not tending to the table throughout the rest of the experience (not his fault nor is it a reflection of the overall usual dining experience here). Overall disappointing but due to very specific reasons. Would definitely return nonetheless.

Our server, Maya, was attentive, friendly, and very thorough throughout the meal. The food was fantastic; I especially loved the steak with the whiskey peppercorn sauce. All six of us agreed we’d happily come back. Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent service all around. Highly recommend State & Main!

I wasn’t sure what I was gonna have because it was only my second time there and I had enchiladas the first time, but unfortunately they got rid of it but she picked out this dish and it was absolutely amazing
