  My wife ordered two Festive Special dinners tonight. One arrived with no stuffing, and no butter was included even though we requested some. The only reason I'm posting this review is that there have been problems with our order 25% of the time. Why have we continued to order? Because when they didn't mess it up, the meals were good and we hoped their quality control would improve. That hasn't happened, so we're done.

  I was in town to visit family and ordered out from this location, OH MY GOD; sometimes I understand when ( something ) isn’t right, BUT my baked potato was undercooked and hard, the Naan bread with the spinach dip were so hard I threw them out, the dip was just gross. My Mother’s chicken was undercooked and all meals were cold. C’mon, do better. The four of us discarded most of our meals. Never again $75 for garbage.

  Had a horrible experience at the pick up counter last night. Changing my previous review from a 5 to 1 star on everything. Waited in my car for app to show order ready. Never happened so I went in. Woman at the counter was obviously overwhelmed by the volume of customers waiting for pick up order. She only called out the bags that were ready for skip and DoorDash and uber. When I made it to the counter, found out my order had been sitting there all along. She started telling me that I still owed 0.04$ although I had placed and paid my order through the Swiss chalet app. After I asked for a copy of the bill and repeated I had paid through the app, she huffed and puffed and did me a huge favour and took the 0.04 off. Although my hot food was ready. My drinks and desserts were not. Took a few more minutes before I got the cold items. By the time I got home, my food was cold and horrible. Just checked the app and my order still shows as « cooking ».

  For over 50 years, Swiss Chalet has been my favorite restaurant for quality, value and taste! Never once in that time have I ever had anything less than excellence. Most fast food portions continue to shrink, while corporate Bean Counters try to jip the customer a little more...not Swiss Chalet! My last visit was with my daughter for my Birthday (Kanata location). Our server was Marie, who has 4 jobs and was working her 51st day in a row. Despite that, she was as fresh as someone who just returned from a two month vacation. She was hustling non-stop and watching her made me feel like telling her to sit and I will get her meal... I don't like celebrations or attention, she gave me a free desert with one candle and a heart felt greeting. Your a fantastic Mother and a credit to your friends, family and employer... She asked us to:" PLEASE, come again". We will and look forward to seeing you! Cheers, Dan and Sam

  What a fail for Swiss Chalet. If I could could give a zero, I would. If you have standards, don't go here. We ordered take-out. No one at the counter, teenage staff running amok, not paying attention, terrible service - someone actually cut in line - another customer was yelling that he had waited over 20 minutes extra for his order to be ready. After a full 5 minutes, when someone finally came to the counter, instead of asking "Next customer please" they just served the guy who cut in front. The food wasn't ready, but somehow was ice cold (we checked our order when we got to the car). We paid extra for a loaded baked potato and what do you know? They cheaped out and used cheese SAUCE and slapped a slice of microwaveable bacon on it (Last winter was actual bacon crumble and shredded cheese). Buns were hard, chicken was dry - TERRIBLE. This place? BANNED. Next time we want chicken - we're going to St. Hubert. Or better - Popeye's. Swiss Chalet? NEVER AGAIN. PS: train your dang staff better....
