  Ordered via the app and it was supposed to be ready in 15 mins. Arrived to pick it up on time and was told the order would be ready shortly. Watched several other customers come and go after me, including Uber Eats drivers, and still no food. After waiting for 20 mins (now 35 mins since ordering) and was told that it would be ready soon. I questioned the cashier again and finally a manager came over and told her to get the order but offered no apology. Waited yet another 10 mins (now 45 mins since ordering) and FINALLY received my order. I checked the order before leaving the takeout area only to find it being incomplete. Went back to the cashier to point out what was missing and was given the remainder of the order and given a poor excuse for an apology. I've worked at Swiss Chalet and would have gone above and beyond to compensate the customer. Staff seemed not to care much and patronizing in their apology. WILL NOT be returning to this location again and will be more than happy to explain to the franchise owner the reasons why.

  One of the best Swiss Chalet service we ever had was in this Aurora location. Cindi was very charming, delightful and was very helpful not only to us but to each customer. Thank you Cindi for making our dinnertime very pleasant.

  This restaurant used to be an incredible spot one of my absolute favourites. Sadly, the experience just isn’t the same anymore. The quality of service has slipped noticeably, and what was once exceptional now feels disappointingly mediocre. I truly hope they bring back the standards that made this place great.

  This is to finally express my deep concern and disappointment following the experience my wife and I had at your Henderson Drive location in Aurora on the evening of November 7th, expecting a peaceful dinner but what we encountered was the reverse of it We've been a loyal customers of Swiss Chalet for years and we have been visited several branches in Markham, Scarborough, North Bay and others. However the treatment we received at this Henderson location was very poor and I felt discriminatory. From the moment we were seated, we were ignored. No one offered us water to drink and even give us napkins and no staff member checked in with us at any point. We watched as other guests seated one table after our table on our front and back, but they were served very promptly and treated with courtesy, while we were left waiting and overlooked. The server who took our order did not repeat it back to us, which led to errors. We were served a chicken with fries and we didn't even ordered fries, but instead mac and cheese. The chicken was incorrect too, we ordered one white mean and one dark meat, but given us all white meat.it took them almost one hour and 30 minutes to served our food right. We were supposed to order bottomless drinks, but the server appeared hesitant and dismissive, so we settled for a glass of Pepsi. The experience was not just frustrating but it was emotionally distressing. It's difficult not to interpret this as racially motivated, because we are ignored and look down. The emotional toll it has taken on us continues even now, because of what we had experienced I am raising this complaint because this matter is serious and should be investigated thoroughly and ensure that all guests are treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their race.

  It’s our first time to Aurora Branch coz we just went to the Royal Venetian Mansion for our daughter’s event. We decided to dine in at Swiss Challet. Coz we have dined to Swiss Challet before at Markham, North Bay, Scarborough and others but it’s our first time in that Aurora Ontario Branch. When we went in, it took us about 5 minutes waited to be seated. We arrived there at 7pm. Then when we are seated we ordered food. We ordered 1/4 chicken white meat with mashed potato and 1/4 chicken dark meat with the additional charge for the Mac and cheese. We also asked for a bottomless drinks but the server is hesitant to give us a bottomless drink and said that they didn’t served it, so we just ordered a glass of Pepsi. It’s been one hour and our food was not served and the customers in other tables have their food already and we are the first one to arrive and ordered. So my husband followed up our order and said that they are just preparing it. So when our ordered come, it was a wrong one. They give us 1/4 chicken with a French fries on it and we didn’t ordered it. And the Chicken was wrong too. It was all white meat, and it was very small. Because we know the size of the chicken since we are able to dine in to a different branches already. Then it took another 20 minutes for the Mac and cheese. We noticed that they are somewhat racists, during our dine in time, coz we are seated at the middle, the customers at our front and back are served very politely and great. They even asks what else do they need and everything and to our table, NO ONE even bothered to ask us if we do need anything and they didn’t have us tissues and water. What kind of service is that. The customers at our front and back are served very great, while we on the middle, NO ONE bothered to look at us and ask us. We are very dissatisfied and disappointed and it we developed a mental stress for what they have done to us. That is supposed to have a good dinner and it was become one of the worst dinner we have. We are so mentally stressed for that experience and maybe never to dine in at any Swiss Challet ever.
