Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
5 stars to the young man expediting orders. Wish I would have got his name. I had a high maintenance burger so the gentleman made sure it was right. When he saw it wasn't what I ordered he took it back to be corrected. AND they got the order out faster than any Whataburger I've seen. I was the dry, no pickles, no Tom's, lettuce onions only. With his attitude he's going to be successful.

The people that work at this Whataburger are so sweet and accommodating.
They took care of us and asked how everything was. A very older gentleman came in at 11:09 wanting biscuit and gravy and they were supper sweet to him and said they had two biscuits left and would do it.
All the employees working were kind and good customers service.

We usually eat here, in lobby, late night on Friday or saturday after causing chaos on the sport bike😂🤷🏼♀️ The only problem I've ever had was the attitude from a few of the counter workers but I've worked fast food so I get it 🤷🏼♀️ Lastnight (03/31/2026) we went around 11 and used the drive thru instead of dining in. The person taking the order seemed new, we had to repeat the order 10x, after about a 8 min wait in line(not to shabby) we overheard a conversation at the window between 2 employees, one said "he really don't care dude, he's only telling you that because he HAS to, do what you want". Then he basically THREW our food in our car, and slammed the window on us. I checked and it seemed like our food was all in there but when I got home I had HALF of a medium fry. My boyfriends was correct if he didn't complain, but I'm a little salty about not having a full order of fries😮💨😒.
Yall can do better I KNOW!

I have eaten at several Whataburger restaurants in five states and the food is always pretty good. It was the staff at this particular restaurant that compels me to write a review. It was around the 5 pm timeframe, people were getting off work and getting food for themselves and their families and there was a Tulsa vs Wichita State basketball game at 6 pm that evening. There were newer members of the staff present learning on the job behind the counter. The manager greeted us and took our order and noticed that we along with others were from out of state to watch a basketball game and we had a very nice conversation with her. We placed our order and while waiting we were hearing instructions greet the customers, don't forget to say thank you, and to ask if there is anything else that you need. After our meal, the manager thanked us again for coming into her restaurant and wished us a good game as well as a safe trip back, stating next time you are in Tulsa to come and visit her restaurant again. This was a very well led team. We enjoyed our meal, not so much the outcome of the game. Next time traveling through Tulsa, we will go to this particular Whataburger restaurant again
