We came here to have a 7 memeber family dinner. The service was okay, but slower. We got seated in aboit 15 minutes, but it took well over an hour to even get our meal. We had to ask for refills and items that were missing from the order, ect. Server was very nice, but could have been better. Still a nice fellow. Most of the food for the price was terrible! Was not cooked to order, and like mentioned above missing items on a few of the orders. For a steak house the steaks were tough and not flavorful at all! The bread sadly tasted like cardboard. The fried mushrooms and loaded potatoe soup were great!! This is all sad, because we love our Saltgrass in Texas, but this will be our first and last time eating at the Tulsa location..... For 7 people 2 being children 9 and under, it cost $250....... no alcohol on the order. Also by the end of the dinner the music was playing so loud we had to yell at eachother to talk and hear.

I’d choose Saltgrass over Texas Roadhouse or The Spudder any day. The food is consistently excellent, the prices are reasonable for the quality, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Unlike those spots, which tend to be loud and hectic, Saltgrass offers a much calmer, more refined environment. It’s a place where you can actually relax, have a conversation, and enjoy your meal without all the noise, while still getting a great steak every time.

This place is exactly what you hope for in a great steakhouse—top-tier food, a refined atmosphere, and service that makes the whole experience feel special. The steak was the highlight and absolutely delivered. Cooked perfectly to temperature with a beautiful sear, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor in every bite. You can tell they use high-quality cuts and know exactly how to prepare them. The sides were just as impressive—rich, well-executed, and the perfect complement to the meal. The drinks were excellent as well. Whether it’s a well-made cocktail or a solid wine selection, everything felt thoughtfully curated to pair with the food. What really stood out was the service—attentive, knowledgeable, and polished without being over the top. They made great recommendations and timed everything perfectly. The atmosphere ties it all together—upscale but still comfortable, making it ideal for a date night or special occasion. If you’re looking for a steakhouse that truly delivers on all fronts, this is the kind of place you keep coming back to.

Good steaks! Wasn’t aware it was a scratch kitchen but it was a nice surprise to find out. Our server was new so we did have to be patient. Had to show her the menu as we ordered. The tables were a bit small for the 4 of us, but it could have also been that all of our food came out at once (appetizers, salads, entrees) after about a 20 min wait after ordering (not a bad wait time, just stating what occurred). Steaks tasted great- tender and flavorful, especially with the mushrooms and onions with garlic butter topping.

Hubby and I were in Tulsa for a date night. Saltgrass was convenient to our hotel so that's where we ate. We usually eat at the one in OKC. Our server was outstanding. She was friendly and attentive and just did a phenomenal job. I wish I remembered her name. Unfortunately, the person who sat us had a rehearsed friendliness like the folks at Chick fil A. Friendly because she had to not because she wanted to. She dropped us off at the table with quickness. The food we had was OK. My hubby ate al of his. I had a pasta fish which was good. I also had the potato soup which the flavor was outstanding but it was grainy. Kind of weird looking and I'm funny if food doesn't look right. What was bad was their attempt at a mocktail. It had the bones to be great but instead it tasted like children's lemon cough syrup. It was thick and gross. Mocktails are becoming more and more popular but I guess Saltgrass hasn't caught on. Everyone likes a good drink. Not everyone wants the alcohol. Anyway, I eat at Saltgrass because my hubby likes it but its not one of my personal favorites.
