- JVJason Veach4 days ago2.0My family and I have been patronizing Fleming’s for years and always held it in high regard. This evening however was not the case. It appears that there has been changes to either staff, management or ownership. Staff used to open the door and greet you, this is no longer the case and getting acknowledged by the reception desk was also a challenge. Our server interacted with approximately 4 times, we waited on refills and necessities. Although she was kind, it was the level of service you’d receive in a diner. The food was still excellent, but for the price, the experience should be holistic. Kind of a shame to see.

I ordered my usual and, as always, was looking forward to the béarnaise sauce — it’s normally one of my favorite parts of the meal. Unfortunately, tonight it tasted rancid, almost like spoiled milk. When I mentioned this to the staff, the sauce was taken back to the kitchen and I was told it had been made today. No one appeared to taste it or investigate further to confirm whether there might actually be an issue. While I appreciate that I wasn’t charged for it, I was surprised there wasn’t more concern about the possibility of serving a bad product to other customers. If I were in their position, I would have at least taken a moment to look into what the customer was experiencing.
