Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I've been to this restaurant twice in it's existence. Both times they screwed up my order. The first time, I called got my name in a book to make it right. I don't live in the area, to stop by for an order of onion rings is not practical. So I'm in the area again several months later, AGAIN they screw up my order. I drive 30 minutes back to the restaurant and ask to speak with manager when I walk in the door. I'm forced to tell my issue to a clerk instead which I did. The manager then comes out from the back and asks what's the problem, I told her I had already explained the issue. She wants me to repeat myself, I start doing so and say, you can look at the receipt clearly stating no raw onion, she immediately cops an attitude telling me to stop being rude, accusing me of being rude because I asked her to look at the receipt. She had it in her hand, again she accuses me of being rude, and tells again me to stop being rude. I was not being rude, I was trying to explain what was wrong with the order. NOW, I got angry. I was not angry when I walked in the door, but this manager was completely unprofessional, not allowing me to finish answering the question she asked me. I will never visit this Whattaburger again, people wonder why you see customers going off on fast food workers, THIS type of response when THEY screw up is EXACTLY why. If I were a different type person, that store could have been destroyed like I've seen so many times of other fast food establishments. All that was necessary was an apology & a remake. Calling the customer rude after you cut them off when answering the question YOU asked is completely unprofessional. That manager needs to get back into an orange shirt, she needs extensive customer service training and does not need to be wearing a black shirt.

The customer service at the Tulsa Hills Olympia location!! DoorDasher POV: I want to pick up a customer’s order. I arrived a little bit early maybe by one minute order was supposed to be ready by 11:33 AM today. Eventually someone came over and asked who was the customers name. I showed him the app. I said oh excuse me sorry that popped up because the order is late on the app. It says it’s supposed to be ready by 11:33 and the response was “ We don’t get the times we just fix the order whenever we’re ready for it or something to that expect“ Well, I said since it’s not ready and I’ve been standing here for a few minutes waiting for it and no one said anything and there’s someone finally does come up and say something and you giving me attitude for a pop-up on app that I have nothing to do with I’m a go ahead and cancel the order before I canceled it of course I recorded all my interactions both video and audio. I informed the customer I’m sorry your order is about to be canceled by me because they don’t have it ready even though the app says that it’s supposed to be ready by this time, I’ll let them know that I reached out to DoorDash to let them know hey the store person that walked up to me said the order is ready whenever they feel like it basically and I’m like what so I want to cancel this order and I wanna be paid for standing here and come in here. I still got paid for the order so thank you rude person at Whataburger. I didn’t have to do the order and I still got paid because you were rude. Keep up the good work!

I ordered at the drive thru and got to the window and paid and got my drink. I sat there at least 10 minutes before another lady came to the window and asked if I ordered the breakfast burger, which I had and she just handed it to me. No acknowledgement of the time I was waiting. I'm sure the people behind me that couldn't even leave if they wanted to were frustrated. Now I know why they have a line around the building at any given time. The food was luke warm as if it had been sitting there for the time I was waiting like they forgot about me.
