Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently noted slow service, particularly in the drive-thru, with long wait times reported.
Food Quality
The food is generally praised for being hot, fresh, and delicious, although some customers experienced issues with incorrect orders or food not being fresh.
Staff Attitude
While many reviews highlighted friendly and helpful staff, there were also complaints about rude service and lack of acknowledgment from employees.
Cleanliness
The restaurant is often described as clean and well-maintained, contributing positively to the dining experience.
Management
Positive feedback was given regarding the management, particularly Michelle, who was credited with improving service and customer experience.

Kiesharra was so sweet and got my complicated order down perfectly! Honestly one of the most pleasant Whataburger employees I’ve ever gotten to interact with

If you have 45 minutes to spare in a 2-car drive thru line to get a cheeseburger, fries, and a coke, this is your spot! In contention for Tulsa’s HOF for slowest drive thru in the city. Also, they mess up your receipt 50% of the time, but the Jalapeño Ketchup is a 5 out of 5!

It is always packed after other places in the area close down for the night. If you are looking for fresh, hot semi fast food after you leave the circle of fun you've been in ,then go get in line.
Don't be surprised if it's not packed inside. You can almost always guarantee a long, steady line of cars proceeding through the drive through.
Atmosphere is more like a 1.75 star. I mean, I get it, but its definitely time for an update to the old building. If you are a people watcher then you will probably find entertainment in the colorful crowd out looking for a hot greasy meal after partying the night away.

P.S. you need a code to get into the restroom. You may not get in as quickly as you might want to!

I am a regular diner at this Whataburger on 14th and Peoria unit 304. I have came here off and on for about 17 years however, recently I have been coming here a lot more frequent. This store has excelled and service and experience ever since Michelle Butler, the new operating partner brought this store up to a shining example of what a Whataburger should be. The food is very delicious. Everything is hot and cooked to order. My order is always accurate. The lobby is always clean. I have never sat down at a sticky or yucky table. The bathrooms are always clean and well serviced with soap and paper towels. Michelle is a very strong manager very detail oriented person very good at organization and time Management, and great with morale and communication! She also makes it a point to know her customers enough to say hello and greet them! One time I went to a different location to look for cups that were out of stock at her store and I asked for the operating partner, and I was told by the employees that they’re busy and they don’t talk to the customer. I was truly shocked. I have always been told at unit 304 that if I need to speak to the operating partner, she will be right out and immediately speak with me customers come first and the customer experience is the top priority at this location. And she trained these morals and values into her employees. There are a lot of young employees, and ones of all ages, and she mentors them to be great successes. I am very happy with every visit. She is doing a great job and her managers and her employees that help support her at the store are incredible. The checkout process is very fast. The staff is very friendly and polite Michelle or a manager manager or a team leader is always out on the floor checking if everything is cooked OK checking on the order with all customers asking if everything is done correctly they are offering napkins ketchup, spoons, fork salt, pepper anything we need they always tell us about the latest menu items they tell us about about the Whataburger app and any promotions going on in the app. They also make sure to tell us about Food deals that could become available in the app. Also, they let us know we can do a survey on the receipt and get an offer for a free whataburger! I have never been dissatisfied with my visits to this location Since Michelle has been managing it. Service and customer experience has went up way up. The food is great the organization and attention to detail, and the prep of the food is all on point. Also the employees are all well dressed lots of black slacks, shirts tucked in hairnets, Beard nets, clean hands, clean fingernails. The place is serious about serving clean, good tasting safe food. This is very important to me when I dine out and spend my money to eat somewhere, I will continue to dine in here. I have been to other Whataburger’s and I am not nearly as impressed. I am always greeted and I’m always thanked for my business, and I noticed other customers are too. I will continue to eat here my family my kids, my friends they all rave about this Whataburger and they love the fact that it is so close to Cherry Street and also south of Route 66 so it’s in a great area. I would love to see them expand the dining room room because it’s often full of customers at lunch and they definitely could fill up that extra space. It is a very good experience dining here and I feel that Whataburger should consider this as a training restaurant because this specific unit meets the definition of the Whataburger customer experience I always have a great experience here and I leave happy and I always look forward to returning. I wish some of the other Whataburger‘s I visited in Northeast Oklahoma, where as friendly and well organized as this unit is it is extremely professional, and it is doing things the Right Way,. Whataburger should be very proud of this location
It’s an A++++
