Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Usually Whataburger employees have that attitude that makes them sound like you are inconveniencing them by being there. This was quite the opposite of that. It might've been friendlier than a 🐤FilA. He was polite and thorough at the speaker, fast but didn't make you feel rushed. At the window, we chatted briefly about the refreshing new Frosted Berry drink before I moved up to wait for the hot part of my order. Julian put me in such a good mood, the wait didn't even feel long. It's rare that service is good enough to make me dig up the receipt when I returned to the office to do a review 10 days later, but I was that impressed. I'm just disappointed that the QR code for the survey on the receipt already expired so I'm having to do it on GoogleMaps. I hope the appreciation still finds him.
