- VVValster1 day ago2.0Outback used to be a top tier restaurant in the past. The 51st & Yale location was where I experienced my first prime rib and it was so good that it was a soul-moving experience. They really set the bar high back then. You could get a great steak at an expected market price. Now you pay a premium price for a sub-par meal. The past few visit have made me realize that things can't always be good forever. Things have been going down hill for awhile and we keep going thinking it may be different now, and then leaving disappointed. Our order was not brought to the table correct. I could understand some things being missed if it were a busy time, however, they were not busy at all as it was early afternoon. Certain details and add-ons were neglected and our server was not very knowledgeable about the menu items. I recall days past where the servers had to memorize everything about the menu and be able to recite it at will when asked. That is clearly not the training the servers receive now. I used the restroom prior to leaving and the aroma or stale urine permeated the air. It smelled worse than a gas station restroom. Probably won't be returning to this location for a long while. Such a disappointing visit this time.

- SSSusan SoukhakianJan 2, 20265.0My mother and I had the pleasure of dining at outback today for lunch...we arrived at around 1pm (friday-jan 2nd)....we were greeted promptly with the hostess holding the door open for us ( my mother has a walker)....we were seated in the bar where Kaley was our server....she was amazing, knowledgeable, and professional. I have dined at this outback before. It's been a hit or miss....we had the fried mushrooms (I've had better), we both had the sirloin, cooked to perfection, and shared a wedge salad. Kaley did an excellent job making our cocktails; margaritas, expresso martini and a chocolate martini. Thanks for the great service...keep it up.

The food was a 9 out of 10, potatoes were a bit cold but still very tasteful . The server Melissa was on point!! Very attentive and prompt!! Its been 9 months since my husband and I have been able to have a date night since losing everything in a house fire. It was a pleasant experience. Thank you Melissa!!!!
