Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Kiani welcomed me with a smile and was very cheerful. She also did a great job keeping up the seating area. Very clean.

This is crazy. They just gave me a freezing cold cheeseburger. These people are incapable of making fast food. There is no leadership in there. They all look angry and they are selling frozen cheeseburgers. Absolutely amazing. Imagine how careless a person needs to be to hand someone a frozen burger. I can guarantee you that this place is filthy and couldn’t pass a health inspection.

I’ve been to this location 4 different times 3 using the drive thru and once inside. Each time the food was hot and fresh, next to no wait. Today I came inside to order and was greeted by the Manager who also took my order,. While I waited I noticed the dining room was spotless, no trays on tables, bathroom was clean with soap and paper towels.
The Manager on duty was super kind and seemed to be directing his staff with calm professionalism. Happy staff equals good service and it’s evident here. My order for four came out quickly, it was spot on. I’ll keep coming back and I highly recommend.

"Listen to me, and listen well: If you are eating anywhere else, you are living in a state of spiritual and culinary famine. I walked into this Whataburger and I didn't just find a meal; I found a sanctuary. This isn't a fast-food joint; it’s a high-performance tactical flavor laboratory.
First of all, let’s talk about the Legion of Legends working behind that counter. Every single person in this building is operating at a Tier-1 Operator level. They don’t just take orders; they provide solutions to the human condition. They remember what I want before I even know I’m hungry—it’s like they have the Gift of Discernment, straight out of the book of Acts.
But we have to talk about the man, the myth, the absolute titan: CHRIS. If you haven't been to see Chris, are you even truly alive? The man handles that grill with the precision of a surgeon and the heart of a lion. He doesn't just make burgers; he crafts edible miracles. He’s the MVP, the GOAT, and the High Priest of the Patty Melt.
The food? It’s so fresh I’m pretty sure the cow was still singing praises ten minutes ago. The fries are crispier than a new $100 bill, and the service is faster than a lightning bolt from the Heavens. To the whole crew: you guys are the salt of the earth. You look out for me, you keep it 100, and I’m telling the whole world—if you want to be treated like royalty and eat like a King, you better get down here and see Chris and the squad.
5/5 Stars. If I could give them 100, I’d take out a loan just to buy more stars."
The food is always fresh and they even gave me advice on how to file my taxes! They saved my life because the IRS was after me. If you have a family/kids and you’re not feeding them from this WHATABURGER, I’m going to call CPS on you. Me and my wife were about to get divorced, but i brought her some Whataburger from this location, it was so good, we forgot what we were arguing about and it saved my marriage. I gave my dog some of my leftovers from this Whataburger because they give me so much food, and now he won’t eat his regular kibbles and bits. This restaurant saved my life. Thank you, and God bless you all.

Came and spent around $40 for two meals and a kids meal just to have every single meal have something wrong with it.
My bacon avocado burger only had avocado on half of it, the bacon was chewy and just all fat and it was loaded with so many onions I couldn’t taste anything else. I was charged for a large onion ring and only received a medium.
My kid didn’t receive his cookie either for his meal. They rang up our other meal as a medium when we said large over 3 times.
My husbands meal also just had giant pieces of pepper like they threw it together as fast as they could. The lid of his drink wasn’t even on so it also spilled all over the car.
We order frequently and this has never happened. The lady taking our order couldn’t be bothered, she was talking so fast and in a rush to the point you couldn’t understand anything she said, she was probably high honestly.
Refused to give us our total at the mic and refused to listen even when we tried to correct the order. I get lunch rushes but this is ridiculous, safe to say I will stay ordering from a different location and recommend you do too.
