We had lunch there recently and the service was horrible. When we did receive our food ( I ordered a roasted chicken sandwich). Big mistake, the meat was the scrap meat and skin. I had several bites and then I decided to eat it open face, after what I saw was I was serve, I did not eat anymore.

$65 for a plate of lettuce, an hour wait, and we left hungry. That was our Easter lunch at the RH Rooftop Restaurant in Oklahoma City. We made this reservation weeks in advance expecting a beautiful, special holiday experience. Instead, it turned into one of the most disappointing meals we have had. Despite having a reservation, we were left waiting while our 90-minute table time was already ticking. We were taken to a table, then told we couldn’t sit there and made to walk back through the restaurant. When we were finally seated, it was at an isolated table with no view—facing a supply closet and elevator, with blinds down so we couldn’t even see outside. Staff even said the table is “hardly ever used,” so we completely missed the rooftop experience we had reserved weeks in advance. We then waited over an hour for food. What arrived was unacceptable: $65 crab salad = a full head of Bibb lettuce with barely any crab Burger was overcooked and dry Steak was gray and clearly sitting under heat lamps Fries didn’t arrive with the meal Even our server acknowledged the food looked poor. A manager came by only to say my son’s fries would be “hot and wonderful,” while my husband’s fries in front of us were already limp and cold. No one offered to remake anything or fix the situation. They removed the food charges—which says everything—but still charged $30 for drinks (my son only had tap water). We left a $25 tip and ultimately left hungry on Easter. For a place that promotes a luxury “RH experience,” there was no experience—just waiting, poor food, and no accountability. We had planned to shop in the gallery afterward and consider a purchase, but we just left. UPDATE: I spoke with management following my original review. The interaction was disappointing—the manager came across as rude and repeatedly asked me to restate the situation rather than addressing it. She stated that the salad only includes a quarter pound of crab and that the photo I posted was a satisfactory portion, which did not align with what was represented or expected. When I declined to continue repeating the same details I had already provided, the call ended abruptly when she disconnected the line. This type of management interaction does not reflect the service standards that are expected from RH.

The food was all delicious but seemed over priced for the portion size. Our appetizers came out fairly quickly but we had to wait an exceptionally long time for entrees. The service could have been more attentive as well. The atmosphere was nice. I can see why the reviews are such as they are compared with restaurants with equally as good food.

Dining at the rooftop at Restoration Hardware Rooftop Restaurant is always such a beautiful experience. The lighting is stunning—soft, warm, and perfect for any time of day. The seafood tower was incredible—fresh, beautifully presented, and worth every bite. Service was excellent from start to finish. One of the prettiest spots in OKC—highly recommend.

UPDATE: Jen reached out and we had a wonderful conversation, she has fully addressed the situation and I believe corrected it in the way that exceeded my expectations for a manager. We are definitely going to give them another chance and appreciate the effort and corrective action by Jen Hair found on the food. We were not upset at all and kindly let the waitress know. In our opinion the situation was not handled appropriately for the amount of money we spent. (I also found a large crab shell in my lobster roll) Instead of taking control of the situation, apologizing and making it as right as possible for the paying customer, our waitress said “that’s weird” “what would you like me to do?” My wife kindly requested fresh potatoes and the waitress gave her an extra plate to remove her lamb so she could take the potatoes that had the hair back to the kitchen. The conversation I witnessed between the waitress and manager did not seem genuine and it definitely showed whenever the manager smirked slightly and never came by the table to apologize for the inconvenience or check in with us. We were not looking for any sort of hand out but rather a simple acknowledgment that we are the paying customers for an overly priced meal and we deserve a perfect plate. We left unhappy with how we were cared for, talked to and still hungry. We paid the full price and carried on with our evening a little disappointed
