This was my first time visiting La Buca and definitely will not be my last. I loved the space, the food, drinks, everything. It’s so nice to see all these new places open in OKC and actually be good!
My parents and I got one of each of the aperol and lavendar spritzes (zero proof) and started off the meal with the Burrata as our appetizer. The sauce on the Burrata was so yummy and the olives and meat really put everything together. We also ordered an extra bread service and the dip that comes out with it (a mixture of olive oil, herbs, capers, pickled onion/red pepper, etc.) was phenomenal. For our mains we had the Putanesca, Pesto Mortadella and Manicotti Brasato which were all really good. The Putanesca and Manicotti were new pasta shapes and flavors (respectively) to us but were so pleasant.
I think La Buca is great for guests, nice dinner out, celebrations, etc. The food is really nice here and also not very expensive compared to other Italian restaurants of this level. I would recommend getting a reservation because the restaurant is pretty small and they do get very busy. I will definitely be coming back again.
I was really excited to try this place and wanted to love it. We had the burrata app and I had the cacio e pepe and my date had the pesto pasta. The appetizer was really disappointing and lacked flavor, it wasn’t served with much bread and the mortadella didn’t really make sense flavor wise. The pasta dishes also lacked flavor and were pretty disappointing. Our server was very nice and checked on us frequently, however I hope they won’t be needing to wear full jackets and ties going into summer I would imagine that would be very uncomfortable and warm. My date and I love Italian and the Paseo so we do hope to come back if some improvements are made but right now I would not recommend and it’s not worth the price.

Honestly, I really wanted to love this place, but I was so disappointed with the food. It was just so bland and nothing special about it. We were first hoping things get better after the appetizer but the pastas were just as forgettable. I got wine and my friend got a cocktail and the drinks were good too.
The host was super friendly and wonderful, we sat outside and the weather was gorgeous, the plastic chairs didn't really go with the vibe, the inside looked a lot more beautiful!

First time eating here, and it was absolutely the B-E-S-T Italian restaurant I’ve ever eaten at… NOT EVEN KIDDING!!! For once, the food was on-point and flavorful! I ate more than I typically do (because it was perfectly made), and I found myself immediately wanting to go back for more (which is not my norm)!!! The ambiance was unique and very nostalgic. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to step back in time and break away from the norm. Surround yourself with their awesome staff, an enjoyable experience, and a great meal! Thank you, Bob for the awesome service!, and to Ryan, the GM. I appreciate you taking the time to say hello and making sure all was well!

We had the most delightful evening at La Buca for my wife's birthday. From being greeted at the door by a properly dressed gentleman, to the attentive hostest, to our wonderful server, this place and the experience was absolutely splendid from start to finish. The decor is elegant, moody, and rich; the wallpaper and color choices, tiled ceiling, created a very intentional and intimate vibe. But the best part was the service. Our server, Bob, was exceptional. Bob catered to us, provided appropriate suggestions, and always kept our water glasses full and was then when it was time to order another drink. He checked on us at all the right times. Bob was wonderful!!
We really enjoyed this place because when you leave the house to go out, you deserve to be handed a menu (not asked to scan a QR code), waited on by exceptional and attentive staff, and served delicious food. La Buca provides a wonderful dining experience, both because of the quality of the food but also because of the level of service that is hard to find at many restaurants these days. The entire staff was great but especially Bob!
