Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Without question the most poorly run franchise in the W - OKC metro. Chronically slow - as in 10 to 15 minute drive thru wait / backed up cars constantly.

I didn’t get food. It’s a shame cause this is my home location. I went through the drive though at about 10:00pm. The guy on the head set exact words says “ hello you’re looking at a 15 min wait for food so do what ever you wish with that information and we are extremely understaffed.” I respect you being under staffed and I respect the wait I will not! And I mean will not stay for the “do with that what you wish”. I was so shocked that everyone in my car just open mouth starred at each other like what did he just say. I think they would have been better off being closed than having this guy work there. I had to settle for Wendy’s which sucks cause it’s not what I wanted at all.

This is the second time I’ve been to this location. I really don’t know what’s going on with management or the employees at this place but I just left there. I was the only one in line and I waited 25 minutes for a double bacon Wrangler combo 25 minutes? This is the second time now apparently something’s happening and this location is not gonna work for me anymore . I usually like Whataburger during the daytime but I thought what the heck I’ll give it a try and go tonight . absolutely not and if you’re coming off the interstate, keep on driving because this place is absolutely not worth it and I live near there too. It don’t matter if it’s 12 AM or 12 PM it’s gonna take you 30 minutes to get your order and you’re gonna be the only one in line so I absolutely have no idea what’s going on with this place. Employees definitely need to go home or be retrained on customer service. Absolutely not !
