Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
The absolute worst whataburger in the entire company. You WILL wait a minimum of 20-30 minutes no matter if youre the only one in the drive thru. 34 minutes this time alone in the drive thru, unfortunately had already paid for my food, or I would have just left.

The slowest whataburger I've ever been to. I've tried getting lunch there multiple times, but have given up and started going to a different location. that location is over a mile further from the jobsite and I can still get there and back faster than going to this location that's practically walking distance from the jobsite. This is the only place that I've ever paid for my food and left without it because I was waiting for so long I would have been late getting back to work... They need to make some serious changes here..

I went through the drivethru at a late time and I guess I miscommunicated my order (no big deal) but when I went to go get the right sandwich (which I was willing to pay for it) they argued with my girlfriend. Then I heard the cooks arguing in the back about why my girlfriend couldn't just eat "the damn grilled chicken sandwich" and yelling about it so I'm not exactly pleased with that. I was going to order the right sandwich either way so. I don't get what the problem was or why there was yelling. I normally like this location, but after today, I might not come back.

WHAT-A-FREAKING-NIGHTMARE!!!
Avoid at all cost.
It's after 11 p.m. on a Monday night. You just spent all afternoon and evening at the E.R. with a loved one and you really need to grab something to eat. At this time of the night, options are limited. So where do you go? To What-A-Burger because the LOBBY IS OPEN 24 HOURS a day 7 Days a week... per their website. WRONG! Found a Homemade sign taped to the front door, "LOBBY CLOSED". So we decided to go the drive through and eat on the run.
We placed our simple order and unfortunately the order taker was new and missed half the order. So we reordered at the window. Waited, and waited, and WAITED!!! TWENTY-FIVE MINUTES FROM point of order, we get our food. The burgers were cold and the fries may as well been placed in their tiny bag right out of the freezer. Horribly Cold.
Finally in possession of our food we take off. Nibbling down the road. Onion rings great! Fries Horribly cold, Burgers COLD, heck, the cheese wasn't even melted on the one cheeseburger.
It looks like only two employees running the show. I pity them as well as the line of cars who were waiting on their "COLD food".
Sadly, Whataburger was a great disappointment and never to be visited again.
If you dare to go here after reading my review, I hope your hard earned money takes you to a better experience.
Good bye What-A-Burger.

I ordered two breakfast sandwiches through Uber Eats to avoid the absurd 20–25 minute drive‑through wait this location is famous for. Imagine my surprise when I showed up and they had no idea where my order was.
After standing there while employees stared blankly at a screen, the guy at the counter finally shrugged and said, “Oh… we might have given that to somebody else.” No apology. No urgency. Just vibes.
It took a ridiculous amount of prompting just to get them to even consider whether they were going to remake the order. When they finally decided to do so, the manager making the food spent the entire time complaining loudly about delivery orders, ranting about DoorDash and how those orders “aren’t really that important.”
First of all—it wasn’t even DoorDash.
Second of all—maybe don’t say that in front of the customer whose order you already lost?
After 30 more minutes, I finally received my two breakfast sandwiches. From ordering to pickup, that’s about 50 minutes total for fast food. Throughout the entire experience, the staff acted like my presence was a personal inconvenience, were consistently rude, and seemed genuinely annoyed that they had to do their jobs.
This was the final bad experience at this location for me. I will never return. It will be significantly quicker to make my own breakfast sandwiches at home, where I can actually enjoy the process and keep my own positive vibes going while I do it.
