  Went back after a Valentine’s Day nightmare for our free meal and the steaks came out wrong AGAIN. My fiancé ordered the filet medium rare. I ordered the bone in ribeye medium rare and both steaks came out really rare. We sent them back mine came back correct. My fiancés filet came out cut up and charred into four pieces. The waitress had us cut into them and my fiancé just happened to cut into one of the 4 pieces that was cooked correctly although tough and charred to death. The other three pieces were rare as the first time. Will not be coming back.   First time coming here , read all the great reviews so i dont know what’s the problem, but we waited over 40 mins to receive our food , when received it was very cold all of it was and i do not like returning my food unless its really really necessary, so whatever ate our food , now i do not want to pull this “ race “ card but i very much did notice we ( hispanics ) did NOT receive the same amount of service our fellow Americans would. I noticed everyone got their food much faster than us and everyone else would get checked up on repeatedly, the 1 hr and a half i was here we got checked on id say maybe 3 times . Now like i said i am not pulling that card and saying thats the reason we were given poor service i do not like being that person but its hard not to see it that way. My gf is also pregnant and was given a near raw steak so overall our experience wasnt too great.

  Came in and the hosts said it would beat about a 30 minute wait, it was busy so I understood and sat down. After about 40 minutes, I had noticed that at least two parties that had shown up after us had been seated. I got visibly upset and went to ask the hosts why we haven't been seated yet and she proceeds to tell me theyre sitting reservations as well as walk ins. Thanks because i totally couldve guessed that and it didnt answer my question or concern at all. Staff is not very friendly or understanding. I would take your service elsewhere.

  I have not been disrespected like this in a long time. We arrived at 630 and walked in and were never greeted. We stood at the door and both hostesses made eye contact then tried to avoid eye contact. They spoke to people who came in after us and even began to ask how many and if the 30 minutes wait time was ok. I had to insert myself and say excuse me we have been standing here. Then we were told "oh I didn't know you were waiting". We decided to leave. I would hate to think it's because we were the only black family there, however no one else was overlooked. Has left a nasty taste in my mouth.

  Update: We went back for our free entree. I ordered a medium rare steak and it was raw, even after I sent it back. We will never be back. My fiancé and I absolutely love Saltgrass. We have come for Christmas Day lunch, so we were so excited to try their Valentine’s Day dinner. Two weeks in advance, he made the reservation for 8:30. When we showed up, there was a line out the door. They weren’t even sitting reservations immediately. We waited 15 minutes to be sat, and there was no sitting room, only standing while we waited. Once we were finally sat, our amazing, incredible waitress, Savannah, began helping us. Savannah was by far the best part of our stay. In fact, she was the only positive thing about our stay. When we ordered our food, we both ordered the Ribeye and the Tenderloin. We waited almost an hour to receive our food, and we got it, our entire meal was cold. We called Savannah over, and she apologized profusely and took it back. We wait close to another 30 minutes, and what they brought back out was the same exact steak, recooked, and still cold, but now they weren’t cooked to order. However, somehow, after cooking my fiancé’s steak twice, it was still cold and raw in the middle. We ended up not getting a single meal in the entire two hours we were there. It was absolutely insane and ruined our whole night. I want to end this by adding, the manager was incredible. Not only did we not pay for anything, but he has offered for us to come back and have a meal on them to make up for it. Like I began with, we love Saltgrass, so we were absolutely devastated with how this went. Ps. Please give Savannah a raise. That girl worked her butt off. We tipped her for the whole meal because she was amazing.
