After she was done interrupting we finished our order. We were not given a receipt, ticket or pager- just asked a name and told it would be called when our order was ready. We sat and waited and eventually had to ask if the soup that was sitting on counter was ours…. It had been sitting there long enough to get not cool but COLD and no one thought to see who ordered it. WOW. Apparently the sandwiches were sitting out too. Grilled cheese sandwiches. Cold grilled cheese sandwiches lol. We tried to be understanding but the way the girl at the counter acted and her care less response “ they’d been sitting there for a 2 or 3 minutes sorry bout that” she didn’t even bother checking the temperature just gave us cold food so we decided we were over it. We work hard for our money Panera bread, we consider $40 for a small bowl of soup and a sandwich for 2 expensive… come on, is it too much to ask for it to be made with consideration? Do you think she handled that right? Customers deserve to have a hot meal in a clean restaurant btw the dining room was filthy and there was trash everywhere! Anyway we asked Nick the GM for a refund he didn’t seem genuinely concerned. As an afterthought he asked if we would like an item from the bakery. No Nick we came for dinner not a muffin or cookie or whatever. We will not be back. We went to Hideaway pizza on 50th and Western. The staff was great! The food was hot and great and the dining room was clean. The manager actually cared! Panera bread should go there and take notes!
