  I pulled into Longhorn, but changed my mind to come here because I wanted to try something new. I was really disappointed in this experience. I had heard so many good things and was excited to treat myself to a great meal. I can honestly say I didn't enjoy any of it. I felt a bit rushed by my server. She never even checked to see if I was enjoying my meal. I'm a very generous tipper, but today I couldn't bring myself to award such a low effort. I will not be returning.

  We co-host an event at Saltgrass three times a year. Jackie is amazing to work with! She is always on top of things, makes sure all of our attendees get what they need, and is very professional. We always look forward to our events!

  We were traveling through dropping our grandson off from having him for spring break. We had the pleasure of having Jacee as our server. She was so pleasant and very personable. The food was delicious - my husband had a steak and I had the shrimp, but I have to say that Jacee deserves a raise she went above and beyond. We definitely recommend not only for the food, atmosphere, but the great employees.

  Best restaurant I’ve been in awhile piper handle our table better than most do. she hit all the points and ensured our food was perfect the manager on duty came by and talked to us for a bit, he was amazing and the kindest. I will be spreading the word abt this place and will be back🫶🏻

  We’ve been dining at Saltgrass for years and have generally enjoyed the food and overall experience, which is why this recent visit was especially disappointing. I have a dairy allergy, and instead of accommodating that, I was offered a standard side I couldn’t eat (a salad with dressing) and then charged full price to substitute something safe. That alone is frustrating and feels out of step with how most restaurants handle dietary restrictions today. It also took over 30 minutes just to receive our salads. When they finally arrived, they were brought out by the manager—and all of them were incorrect. There was no apology for the delay or the mistakes, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. The manager was not helpful in resolving the situation, and it did not feel like there was strong leadership on the floor. What’s more concerning is that this appears to be a pattern. The same manager was working during a previous visit a few weeks ago, where another situation escalated to the point that a customer became extremely upset and caused a scene in the restaurant. We’ve always liked Saltgrass, but experiences like this make it hard to continue coming back. Better attention to food allergies, improved service, and stronger management would make a significant difference.
