Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently reported excessively long wait times, often exceeding 30 minutes, even during non-peak hours.

Was really packed when we went and service was slow, but the food came out hot and it was what you would expect. I'm a big fan of their Malts. Overall I would recommend, but would suggest not going there right at dinnertime.

Went there for a quick bite, waited for an upwards of 15 minutes in the drive thru, which okay, its fine, i understand because i work in fast food. What's NOT fine is that when i got my drinks, they were COMPLETELY flat, im talking sitting in the car for 24 hours kind of flat with 3 ice cubes tossed in. No acknowledgment from expo, took my payment and left me until food was ready. When I got home (I got 3 kids meals only, which usually come with cookies, which i had also specified) there were zero cookies and zero napkins in any of my 3 KIDS meals. listen I can be reasonable when it comes to fast food because I understand, but this? Unacceptable. When I tried to call the place afterwards, nobody picked up whatsoever.

Took over 25 minutes to get a cheeseburger and fries that tasted like they have been in the fryer for 2 days. There was only 2 people in front of me in the drive thru.

Waited over 30 minutes for a chicken salad that never came!! Then they didn't want to refund my money. They became too "busy" serving high schoolers to worry with customers that were already there.
And we're offended we were done waiting.
