Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

If they would have put grilled onions on it like we have always gotten them or would of been a five star . The raw onions must be a Oklahoma thing because in Texas they grill the onions on for the patty melt.

At that point, she immediately started going back-and-forth talking to the other Employee that was in the store. I told her that I would like to have picante sauce and grape jelly with my order. She replied OK. The issue that I have is when I got home, my sandwich was cold, and the sausage was dark and greasy. This tells me that the sausage has been sitting for quite some time. Also, I had no picante or grape jelly in my bag. There is no excuse for this because the restaurant was not even busy. I was the only customer in line. I will not be returning to this location.
