  Normally, EVERYONE greets me when I walk into the door. The employees stumble over each other to make sure my order is taken ASAP, and it's just an incredibly productive place. Today, however, the company should be ashamed of the service I was provided. When I arrived, one typing male employee was at the register and a girl with long blonde hair down her back was busy swishing her hair around. He turned to her and asked for a "fist bump" while they continued to have their private conversation. I'm easily within two feet of them, and neither one of them even looks at me nether the less greets me to let me know anything at all. So, I'm still patiently waiting but getting irritated. Then, the manager comes up and joins THEIR CONVERSATION!! 🤦🏼‍♀️ She doesn't greet me. She doesn't even look at me. She just started talking with the employees about whatever topic they'd been discussing. Again, I'm still silent. Finally, MARISSA, came up from the back and greeted me. When I blatantly explained that she was the FIRST to do so, she looked at the employees chatting and said the one in the gray jacket was actually her boss, and I let her know that's even more embarrassing. I used to manage a hair salon, and I'm the example I want my employees to act like. To greet a customer is pretty minimal in a CUSTOMER SERVICE business!! 🤔 Again, MARISSA, apologized profusely. The boss NEVER even tried to take ownership or control the situation. As a company, I think Tropical Smoothie should be HIGHLY disappointed in the lack of professionalism at this location!! Thankfully, ONE employee does their job, and that's MARISSA! That girl needs the management position, not the red head who has it. Wish I could tell you her name, but I never saw a name tag. 💯

  Over the last 2 weeks I have came to this location twice on my lunch. Both times my orders were wrong, which is disappointing after waiting 10-15 minutes for 2 items. I was offered my first order to be fixed on my next visit for free, I went by and they were out of one of the items. I went today and the food was extremely disappointing. After visiting another tropical smoothie location in okc, it’s really disappointing to see how much better the food and service is elsewhere. It’s really frustrating to consistently have issues with service and food every time I visit this location.

  I saw another issue with someone getting a bad banana crunch i think there must be some gap in training I was genuinely offended by the way this was done. I thought i didnt tip enough or something.It was a glob of peanut butter barely any honey or any of that like stuff thats normally put on this dish. Like whoever made this hates their job because I didnt do anything to upset the employees. Also this and a smoothie was THIRTEEN dollars. Plus a tip. I do expect it to actually be made properly and taste right.
