Everything was absolutely wonderful, the food was properly spiced. I had the Lamb Masala, garlic cheese naan, and the gentleman recommended the most wonderful starter of a chicken with a smoky tomato based sauce. The prices seem abhorrent until you realize that each dish can feed a family of 4. Truly a wonderful family style restaurant. I hope they are here for years to come.
Solid place. We attempted going their first Sunday post-opening. The lunch rush was so bad we waited 45 mins without an order being taken for us, so we left. We had been seated quickly and only had waters that whole time. Went again Wednesday mid-afternoon and we were the only ones there at first. Meal came quickly and stayed hot (temp) the whole time. Huge plus. HEAT LEVEL we can handle better than most Oklahomans (no shade). We asked for Medium+ and Hot and were given medium and medium+. Not sure if it was an oversight or they went a degree lower assuming we couldn't handle it. Well, we could've gone way hotter. Still tasty! I recommend the combo curry so you can try lamp, chicken, and shrimp. Very filling and they offer extra rice (we didn't even need it). Price is a little up there but we'd go again. Clean, and service didn't bug us every two seconds.
First time trying Indian food and I got the Lamb Kabob. It was delicious! I also got an assortment of the naan bread and it was all very good and everything tasted very fresh. My wife got the honey chicken and she loved it. They give you a wide variety of options for your preferred heat level. My 5 year old got the honey chicken also and the difference between his and my wife’s when it comes to heat was very noticeable. It was extremely busy when I got there and there was no wait. The staff were very attentive and give you a good idea what everything is before you order so if you’re uncultured like me you’ll have a good idea what you’re gonna get!
I went for late lunch on the day after grand opening. I was a customer of previous restaurants in the same building for many years. I know how worn and dingy the restaurant had become. Kripa opens with fresh paint, new carpet, new furnishings. Every thing was fresh and new. 5 stars for atmosphere for that reason! Food was excellent. Service at that time of day was very personal. I am pleased with everything about this new place. It's a wonderful new dining choice for Enid.
Ate here last night and the food was amazing… Chicken Vindaloo, Butter Chicken, Combo Curry, and Mixed Grill (clay oven) were absolutely delicious. Top 3 of any Indian restaurant I’ve ever visited. Worth the price.
Be patient, they’re still figuring out order of operations there. Saw a couple folks get seated and leave before their waiter came back to take the order. I’ll admit… i almost did as well. Fortunately I came with my in-laws and they reminded me “2nd day open… give em grace.” Boy, was I glad I did. Worth the wait.
Also, quick shout out to Rahul. Noticed the other dude hadn’t gotten to us so he stepped in and provided an excellent experience. Will be back.
5 stars is based on potential for service and atmosphere. Welcome to Enid Krippa.
