Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Open 24 hours with those stacked patties, the sweet & spicy burger is straight fire 🔥. Counter service is quick, order online if you’re in a hurry, and the fries hit different. Solid classic fast-food done right — I’ll be back for that spicy kick every time!

Our order was slightly messed up (burger was ordered & rang up correctly w/0 onions, but was made with onions. Spouse is highly allergic or this wouldn't have been an issue ). However the staff handled this problem in a professional & speedy manor. Plus the cook himself came out & apologized; Which we thought was super nice.. our food was served fresh, hot & delicious 😋

- JJJMar 29, 20261.0Literally the worst whataburger I’ve ever been too. I waited for over 40 minutes only to not ever receive my food. I did get a refund online but the employees at the store were awful. The guy up front was good but he had absolutely zero help except for occasionally from an overwhelmed manager. Other employees ignored me and helped their friends first before helping other customers… I was literally never helped. The store was uncomfortably hot too, just 0 stars whatsoever
