We are so excited to have Southern Steer as our new local meat market! You are always welcomed with a friendly staff and they are all so helpful in picking out just what you need. Our family favorites so far are the Argentine beef tips, Margarita chicken and the ground beef. Their marinates are delicious and ready to cook when you get home. The store has some fun spices and grocery items as well that we have loved. Another must try is the Buffalo dip with their tortilla chips. We will be going weekly!
I’ve been to a lot of butcher shops, but I’ve never been to one that had a better selection, better spices, and people that are so friendly that wait on you. I’ve had bone in rib eyes, bone in prime rib, liver, chicken, jerky, etc. and thus far, everything has been fabulous..great place

Southern Steer Butcher in Edmond is truly something special. From the moment you walk in the front door, you’re welcomed with genuine Southern hospitality and an unmistakable local, family-owned vibe. You immediately know you’re about to experience the best.
The quality of the meat is outstanding — absolutely top-tier. Our favorites are the Bourbon steak tips and the Argentine chicken breasts, which are consistently flavorful, tender, and restaurant-quality at home. And the smashed potatoes? Simply to die for.
Every visit feels like a five-star meal waiting to happen. Incredible products, friendly service, and a business that clearly takes pride in what they do. Highly recommend — this place is a gem!

Best cut of meat that I have had, ever. We had the young lady at the counter “surprise” us with her favorite steak and she gave us a ribeye. Honestly it was the most tender ribeye I have ever eaten. I seasoned it with Meat Church Holy Voodoo and olive oil, smoked it until the internal was 120, then seared it on high for a minute a side. Turned out a perfect medium rare. For a side we purchased the stuffed mushrooms, which cooked perfect as the label said, so dang good!! We will definitely go back, probably every weekend.
The lobster was from Crest.

Just picked up two new York strips, cut to order, 1-1/2 inch cuts, and the quality of the meat is amazing, pricing is a bit expensive, but with beef prices and overhead, they gotta make money too so I understand. They also have an abundance of chicken, and pork, their jerk chicken taste amazing, they had samples out. I also order a two pound tritip for Christmas dinner with rosemary carrots and cranberry casserole for the sides. Can't wait to cook that up for our Christmas dinner. The holiday packages are fairly priced, but remember they have to make money to. But their meat is sourced from Creekstone farms if I remember out of Arkansas City in Kansas, so the beef is high quality Kansas beef, gotta love it. Have a wonderful day y'all, God bless
