  Only reason rating a 2 star was because the place was clean, the cashier was nice and it was done in time. First time ordering from Donatos. We ordered a large thin crust pepperoni pizza to pick up. It was ready when we got there, and we were 5 minutes early - good. It was a bit more expensive than other pizza we get. It was super thin - ok fine I ordered thin. Flavor was okay, nothing extraordinary. When I opened the box at home I didn’t know what to think - who cuts pizza like that?! This was NOT a pizza. I had no clue that this is what they do. Will not be retuning.

  Pizza was average. Less sauce will make it better. Food was also cold when we picked up, even tho we showed up on time.

  Would like to see a menu without going thru the order process. Best I could find was a poor quality photo of a menu that was not readable.

  I'm just going to preface this review with an apology. I apologize for the length and for getting personal. I'll also preface it with everything was wonderful 💜 Pizza was amazing and so was the staff. My only "complaint" is having to drive 45 minutes from Norman (but obviously that isn't a real complaint I just wish we had one here too). I grew up in Ohio where Donatos is alot more common. It was my favorite pizza to eat growing up. Classic pepperoni, nothing better. Unfortunately, I had to move away from Ohio when I was 11. The incredibly short version is, my mother was dying from cancer and in an attempt to avoid putting us in an orphanage, they arranged for us to be adopted in Texas. During the chaos of our mother dying and everyone thinking they had our best interest at heart; I was actually separated from four of my siblings. They all moved back to Ohio with previous family; but I had to stay in Texas with the new people. Ohio became a really painful memory for me and a place I alltogther avoid visiting. I hadn't been back since my teens and I hadn't had donatos even longer than that. Not since the first time I left at 11. I'm bringing that up to remind the reader this started about pizza. I'm also going to provide the spoilers that this story has a happy ending. Fast forward to my adult years. I'm in my 30s, healing mentally and thriving. I'm about to get married to an amazing woman and parter. Out of the blue, for the first time in about 20 years I hear from one of my lost sisters. Instantly puts me in touch with everyone I lost. Huge emotional reunion, albeit remote. My wife changes up our honeymoon plans and we decide to spend our time in Ohio visiting my sisters. It was my first time back in 20 years. I was really excited to show my wife where I grew up (Dublin area) and to see my sisters. I was also telling my wife the entire time about my all-time favorite pizza place. When I talked to my sisters I asked about Donatos. One of my sisters says I'm going to love it still, it's literally unchanged. We got off the plane in Columbus right around lunch time and it was the first thing we did. It was exactly as great as I remembered. I think we ate it twice if not three times on that trip (I had no idea when I was going to go back to Ohio to get it again). Fast forward again to me back in Oklahoma after that trip, and I heard a radio promotion (might have been one of those deals where you buy a gift card at half price? Genuinely not sure or I would give credit). The radio ad I heard though; j was convinced they said "Donatos" and I was like surely not right? Not all the way down here. Then I googled it and I was extremely surprised to find we have one in Edmond! (Two even). I've made a yearly thing out of driving up to Edmond with my wife and friends to eat Donatos on my birthday. Last Saturday we made our annual trip and it was amazing as always. I'm trying to find reasons to come up more often 💜 My friends paid and kept the receipt so I couldn't so the actual company survey. I decided to go on here and give it a more personal touch. I am sorry for thr entire wall of text. If you took the time to read all of this, thank you. It feels really silly to dedicate this much time to a pizza but I'll try to explain. Before my mom died I was really happy, and I had Donatos. Then there was a very long period where I didn't have family, or a strong sense of self, a real struggle (also no Donatos). Now I'm at a point where I'm happy and healthy, with my own family and friends; and I also have Donatos again. Donatos obviously isn't causing the happiness or sadness, but it's interesting to me that the happiest time frames in my life are bookmarked by your pizza 💜
