They changed the procedure instead of marinating the chicken in the teriyaki sauce. They just put the chicken on the bun and added a little bit of sauce on top. Multiple different restaurants we tried to have them prepared the old way and no one would take the time to put the chicken into a bowl or bag with teriyaki sauce and blend it all together. This week at the Durant the employee by the name of destiny, prepared the teriyaki chicken by mixing it in a pan, blending it together and letting it sit for a few minutes and then building our sandwich. This was the old sandwich so much better than the chicken being dry with just a little bit of teriyaki on top. I tipped destiny, which is the first time I’ve tipped for a fast food item as I believe that part of their cost is handing you the sandwich over-the-counter. But destiny went above and beyond and told her she would bake it for us. Anytime we wanted to come in and we will be going back soon.

When we walked in, the employee making my sandwich actually reached down and wiped her foot while still wearing her gloves, then immediately went back to preparing my food. My wife had to ask her to change her gloves, which is basic food safety. On top of that, the veggies all looked wilted and unappealing, and the cookies we ordered were dried out. This location has really gone downhill, and it’s just unacceptable at this point.
