Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Save yourself the trouble of ordering ahead on the app. Just go ahead and buy a calf, raise it, butcher it, grill it yourself. It’ll take less time and be better. I waited curbside for 30+ minutes. Walked in, asked about it and they said “oh, it’s right here” and handed me cold food. If I could give zero stars I would. The service was trash, the food may have been good when it wasn’t room temp. I get service jobs can suck, I get it was dinner rush but this was just crazy bad.

Ordered 2 apple pies and 2 sweet teas took 20 minutes to order and then get to the window and have to wait extra time for the order and the manager was very rude with the response to the order and asking why it took so long

I stopped at the Whataburger @ 7am to get an order of pancakes and a salad that was pre ordered through their app. First I had to wait like 10 min, which is fine, I had to pull up past the window and someone brought out my food. I asked the person where my salad was, they said "it was in the bag" when it clearly wasn't. They went back inside for a few min and returned to ask me for my reciept... I gave it to them, they went back inside. I sat there for another 15 min!! Finally they came back out to tell me sorry the person making my order just didn't see that ordered a salad, I said "okay where is my salad now?" They said "oh they're making it now". At this point I was pretty frustrated, how long does it take to make a freaking salad? All this time people are going around me I counted at least 11 cars, It took them a total of 45 min to get it all straightened out. I finally got my salad and my pancakes but when I got home to eat them there wasn't any dressing or syrup or butter!!! Worst Service Ever!!! Would have given 0 stars if I could.

Service was terrible. Between the mandatory app download to pick up food, the parking mix-up, and the wrong order being brought out, it was a headache from start to finish. I was parked for 10 minutes then I had to flag staff down to get my food, which arrived lukewarm with soggy fries. The burgers have potential, but the execution is behind competitors like Chick-fil-A. Avoid ordering online. App deleted.

With just one customer ahead of me , I placed my order and paid for it. I then waited patiently for over an hour while my food was "almost ready". I walked out hungry and my wallet , fifteen dollars lighter. I don't understand how businesses can operate like this and it's not theft.
