Friendly service. Good food. Very clean. Driving past, decided to try it, glad I did.

Food and smoothies are good. But they have the audacity to ask for a tip at the drive-thru window. The dumbest thing I've ever seen. Do better.

I stopped by about an hour before closing after a very long and exhausting week and ordered a Tropi Boba Bowl through the drive-thru. I asked if I could substitute the boba pearls for pineapple. I was willing to pay the difference if there was one. They said that was fine. I chose the drive-thru specifically because I was extremely tired and didn’t want to have to go inside. I parked by another restaurant to eat in my car and realized the bowl was missing strawberries, and after checking the menu image again, I noticed it was also missing the chocolate that was supposed to come with it. Because of this mistake, I had to leave, find another place to park in a crowded lot, and go inside to get it corrected. I was already exhausted and really didn’t want to have to go in, argue with an employee, wait for another bowl to be made, but the mistake added this extra time and frustration to my already long evening. When I explained the issue, one employee immediately started arguing with me, insisting that I had ordered the mango bowl instead. She was smiling and almost laughing while arguing with me about it. That kind of response is frustrating when you know exactly what you ordered, and arguing with customers instead of simply helping resolve the issue isn’t good customer service. Thankfully, the manager stepped in, asked what was wrong, and remade the bowl right away. He handled the situation professionally and seemed focused on actually fixing the problem. Mistakes happen, especially close to closing time, and I understand that. My only suggestion would be that staff receive guidance on listening to customers and resolving concerns without arguing. I do appreciate the manager stepping in and making it right.

I would encourage management to reconsider handing customers a credit card machine that prompts for a tip before food or service has been provided. While staff may not verbally ask for a tip, the prompt creates an implied expectation and can make customers uncomfortable. Tipping should reflect the quality of service received, and being asked to decide before the experience is complete raises concerns for some customers about whether declining might affect how their order is handled. It’s also worth noting that Fed allows tipped workers to be paid as little as $2.13 per hour, yet this business advertises that it pays staff above minimum wage. Because of that, the early tip prompt feels unnecessary. I hope management considers this feedback as a way to improve the overall customer experience.

The last two times that I have been here the service has been awful! I'm a restaurant manager and the one thing that will sink an establishment is poor service. There were several teenagers working and my one smoothie took 20 minutes and the girl that finally came to the drive thru window - I asked why it took so long - she said they were training. I guess they were being trained the wrong way. She stared at me as she gave me my smoothie and never once said thank you. That says it all. If you don't thank me, I won't be back - there are plenty of other choices out there. I hope the manager of this store is able to turn things around.
