It never really matters if you're ordering just before lunch or 30 minutes before close your food will be exactly as it was the last time. The only real con here is sometimes people drive a little fast in the parking lot so watch your corners. At different times the items on the Sonic app appear to not be available but you just have to ask and they will help you.

I ordered my food a little less than a hour before they closed so I expected the food to not be the best, from previous experiences from other fast food places. I ordered through the mobile app and did a pick up, and under 10 minutes, I drove to the location, parked, got my food and left. The lady was extremely nice and made sure I had everything I needed before I left, and this food was honestly the best i’ve had from any Sonic. I’ve never left a review for anything in my entire life, I was just so pleased with my experience. Might be my next binge food🙌😛

The car hop wanted to take my card to a different terminal for my 2nd order. I declined and asked her to use my screen so that I wouldn't be separated from my card. Food was ok.
