  I stopped in after a long day at work a couple days ago and it was obviously the right decision. I’d never tried barrio until now, but the food (smashburger) was awesome and the bartender (I think her name was Lauren) was super attentive and personable. 10/10 recommend

  This is a great place. Great atmosphere, professional staff, great food! Definitely a place to go. I plan on returning again soon.

  I’m really disappointed with how much this location has gone downhill. We actually chose to come here for my birthday, and it ended up not being a good or memorable experience at all. When we arrived, employees were having a loud meeting right in front of the bar, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable right away. I politely asked the host (Angel) if we could be seated in a back booth to avoid the noise, and the response I got was simply, “Nope, can’t do that,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional. The service only got worse from there. My parents were served and finished all four of their tacos before my partner and I even received our food. We waited about 30 minutes to receive the rest of the order. When our tacos finally came out, the chicken was ice cold, from the fridge. It honestly makes no sense. I’m not sure what we were waiting for if the food wasn’t even hot. Overall, the service, food quality, and professionalism were all lacking. Really disappointing, especially for a birthday outing. I used to love barrio.

  I've given this place so many chances over the years, hoping that it will get better, but unfortunately it never does. Every single time I order food, I already know there is going to be some issue. Queso came out ice tonight. Tacos were also cold and missing the dipping sauce, had to have them remade as well. It's just insane to me how this place stays in business with absolutely zero quality control in place. Server was nice, but thankfully we had a water pitcher located behind us since our glasses were never refilled once by him. Save your money and go down the street to Condado. This review was left after four or five negative experiences, so this wasn't a one off. Do better Barrio, ridiculous. Every time I leave here I feel like I've been robbed. What a shame.

  I had an amazing time here!!! The food was great! Only negative I had was with my margarita, took a looooong time to come out, and when it did it was on the rocks and not frozen like I had asked. I’m pretty sure they just took it back and threw it in a blender to make it frozen hahaha, so not the best drink I ever had, but still pretty good! I have had the frozen house margarita before and it was much much better, so I would honestly recommend that if you’re a margarita lover like I am.
