Wendy's seems to be going downhill. From the dated building and dirty facility to the poor staff hiring. The pricing is lower than the competition but competing on low price doesn't seem to be a good long term strategy.
On my most recent visit the Freestyle machine was out of 75% of flavors. Both ketchup dispenser were empty. Trash was everywhere and employees left used cartoons laying around on the counters. The bathrooms are gross and smell weird.
The only reasons I go to Wendy's is the low price for Biggie bag, the fries, chocolate chip cookies and Freestyle. If the Freestyle syrups are empty that takes away one reason for going.
