Manager Tristan Gellet at west lake was really rude to my daughter. She was sold a ticket at the front desk and was told after being there for 2 hours that she had to be 25 which is crazy because my after prom was There and I was only 16-17. . My daughter is 18 year old and he told her she couldn’t be there unless she was 25. I read the policy and it said after 9 am it was only 7:15 pm at that time. SMH. I’m calling corporate.

We waited an hour to be seated (we had 10 guests), when we were put on the wait list there was a total of 3 tables with guests in the dining room. When we finally seated the waitress took our drink order, forgot two guests drinks and straws for kids drinks. The food started to come out in increments, 3 people received their food, 15 minutes later three more people received their food-cold then another 15 minutes 3 more people received cold food. The birthday boy received his hamburger and fries last, 45 minutes after the first three guests received their food. The waitress said nothing about why the food was coming out sporadically and was in fact eating her food at the servers station while we were waiting for our food. At one point we asked the food runner about the rest of our food and he snapped back at us and walked off. The manager was alerted towards the end of the meal and took the birthday boy’s kids meal off our bill. This was by far the worst service I have received anywhere and did not experience anything close to this previously at this establishment.

I have never been to Dave and Buster’s before, so this was our first time coming. We came on a Saturday night to watch Wrestle Mania. My first reaction was wow, this place is huge! Lot of stuff going on! We sat at the bar and the guy gave us menus. The first thing I noticed was there are no prices on the drink menu! I usually like to know how much things are before ordering. Anyway I did order something, come to find out they charged 13 dollars for it! The prices for drinks are ridiculous! After that we had asked if they could put the channel on the fights so that we could watch when they came on. He told us he would go and ask the manager. He came back and told us that the manager said to go sit somewhere else! Really!! This bartender we had never came back after that! Luckily a gentleman named Carlos. Very nice guy, and he was very good thank God, he did great! Food was good, but the one bartender and manager need to go!Don’t think we’ll be back anytime soon !

While I had a great time and the food tasted fantastic, I can't help but notice that the portion sizes are MUCH smaller than they used to be. I was still hungry after finishing the Blackened Chicken Alfredo and the kids mac 'n cheese meal didn't even come with a side of fries. When the meals are expensive enough as they are at $40 per adult meal (with the play and eat combo), I can't help but feel a little ripped off when my only recourse is to buy MORE food to actually fill up.
The last time I was here about six years ago, my experience was much different, having ordered a comparable pasta dish that filled me up plenty at the time.

Well a few things I had not been there in awhile and I absolutely hate the new layout in the dining room ,reminds me of a cafeteria . I totally miss the ceiling fans and the old style look of the old eating area. The old area felt more warm and nice . The new dining feels like some kind of open public cafeteria very cheap looking in my opinion..BUT ,BUT the only thing that made up for it was the AMAZING HUGE! connecting TV screens . Me and my grandbaby enjoyed watching are baseball team win on the big screens . As far as the gaming It was up and down as well .. My grandbabies could of not been happier when they saw that game room ..the kids went crazy BUT ,BUT the excitement dropped very quickly when me and my grandbabies tried to play 2 people at the same time on MANY of the games and only one of the game players was working
.The upset my grandbabies had was not good ,I would hurry to try to change seats or headsets ,or guns with my grandbabies if I had the side that was working .. ... WE LOST A LOT OF MONEY $$ from SEVERAL of the machines not working properly . They should have someone continuesly monitoring the machines to see what's working and what is not...THEY NEED TO POST OR SHUT DOWN ANY MACHINES NOT WORKING PROPERLY . Not 1 machine in the place was posted with an OUT OF ORDER NOTE ..Staff was pretty good overall but they seemed a little short staffed especially to keep an eye on machines working or not . We spent over $300.00 for 2 adults and 2 children going there . And spent between 5 and 6 hours there having late lunch and playing games. We did splurge for both the grandbabies to do THE HUMAN CLAW MACHINE ,it was pricey $15.00 per kid but that video we took of them in the machine grabbing there cheap prizes was priceless . We ended are evening with that and the grandbabies were thrilled . Note : The older gentlemen running the machine WAS AWESOME , HE WAS GREAT WITH THE KIDS . Saw your reply suggesting I go to your website, not sure why I have to do all that . Just check on your broken machines and up your amount of staff . I think it's a little late to change the dining room decor to make it feel more family style instead of open cafeteria look . Next time I visit your resteraunt I'll know if you took these suggestions seriously and will write a new review . I enjoy seeing places that took my suggestions seriously and a now thriving businesses. I only wish the best for ALL businesses and wish the best for yours .
