  Excellent Service! Loved Sequoya at the bar, and the wings are delicious and come out hot and fast. Will be back soon especially to hear the live sax player on wednesdays!!

  I walked in to grab a Uber Eats order and the lady had the nastiest attitude. Yelling at me. Rolling her eyes. Drinking on the job.

  Walking in and seen a clean friendly environment. Music of liking with the Dj playing all the right music to match the crowd. The bartenders was nice n friendly. Even with the 1s who wasn’t serving me still checking to make sure I was okay. My food was great n reasonably priced. My wait time for drinks was minimal and for food was a standard time from when I ordered and received my food. I spent what I spent alone simply off drinks lol but the prices was amazing especially since in other places I spend more. I did get to meet 1 of the owners who came from the back just to check on the customers. She was a friendly n jokey… I’d visit this establishment again and I came a 30 minute drive away…. To the owners keep going ladies!!

  I genuinely love coming to The Chalk Bar. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a great vibe that feels warm, fun, and relaxed. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and makes you feel like more than just another customer; they really care about your experience. The food never disappoints; everything I’ve had has been fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Whether I’m stopping by to unwind or meet up with friends, it always feels like the right place to be. The Chalk Bar has quickly become one of my favorite spots, and I always look forward to coming back.

  Let me start off by saying that my wife and I love to support black owned businesses. We have been to the Chalk Bar four times over the past 2 years and only got the opportunity to try the food once. The other three times we visited, we ordered food, and after waiting for over an hour, we decided to leave , without having the opportunity to taste the food. Mind you, each time we have been there the bar was never crowded, with only about 5 to 8 people inside the bar at the time. Our orders were never complicated, just a simple wings and fries, but still taking more than an hour and still being charged a 20% gratuity. Needless to say that we will NEVER patronize this establishment ever again.
