Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing dining experience. The wait time was extremely long, both for seating and for the food to arrive. When the dishes were finally served, they were not up to standard — the food was cold and lacked proper preparation, with rice that was not fully cooked and meat that was poorly done.
Service was also very slow throughout the visit. Considering the price, the overall quality did not meet expectations at all. I would not recommend this restaurant based on our experience.
Extremely disappointing experience. We waited over an hour just to get a table, and then another long hour for our food to arrive. When the food finally came, it was cold and poorly prepared. The rice was undercooked and hard, and the meat was not properly cooked either.
On top of that, a $16 charge was added to our bill without any clear explanation or prior notice.
Overall, the service was slow, unprofessional, and the food quality was unacceptable. Definitely not worth the price and I would not recommend this place.

Had a really great experience at this Indian restaurant!
The food was honestly amazing. We tried the garlic naan, chicken tikka, and the lamb korma (chef’s special), and every dish was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. I don’t usually go for spicy or heavily flavored food, but everything was so well-balanced and delicious that I really enjoyed it. Nothing felt overwhelming, just rich and flavorful in a good way.Overall, such a nice dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We had to complain about the food due to a bitter sourness from both of our dishes. The rice was exposed to bad oil and the taste was so off. The owner came out and basically said that we just aren’t use to Indian rice and implied said that we did not understand Indian cuisine. I was honestly worried about food poisoning since we both had the sour and burnt taste in our mouths .
The waiter was fantastic but I definitely will not ever go again. Customer feedback is so important to a restaurant and this owner did not listen; just judged our lack of knowledge about Indian cuisine .
What a joke .

From the moment Jewel of Toledo opened on Central Avenue, it quickly became a favorite spot for our work team. We’ve visited at least four different times, and every single experience has been consistently outstanding.
The food is nothing short of impeccable. Every dish is packed with rich, authentic flavor, and you can truly taste the care and craftsmanship in each bite. The meats are always tender, perfectly cooked, and beautifully seasoned. Whether you’re trying classic favorites or exploring something new on the menu, there’s an incredible variety of options that never disappoint.
What really sets this place apart is the consistency. It’s not just a one-time great meal, it’s excellence every single visit. That’s rare and worth celebrating.
If you’re looking for Indian cuisine that delivers bold flavor, quality ingredients, and a menu full of delicious choices, Jewel of Toledo is absolutely worth a visit. It’s quickly become a go-to for our team, and we’ll definitely keep coming back.
