Koi Sushi is so good! Everything came out fresh, fast, and plated beautifully. The all-you-can-eat option is 100% worth it every roll hit. š£š„

This was our first and last time dining here. Atmosphere is good the wait staff is nice. When we got there we didn't see a buffet anywhere so was kinda confused but we did see the sushi people at the bar making sushi behind a small area of prep food under a glass canopy. We wanted to sit there as the center section seating was pretty packed but the waiting said no and seated us over in the packed area. They don't explain anything they just ask lunch or dinner which also was weird because it was 1pm so we said lunch.
So you need to know what's not posted anywhere until you sit down and it's on the napkin holder which we never read till mid meal mind you it's not even on the menu. So basically it's about 19$ for lunch don't know about dinner. You order anything on the lunch menu they give you but if you don't finish they charge you for what ever is left on the plates rather you want to take it or not. Even if you don't like something. We didn't know any of this till after we ordered mind you waiter didn't tell us this at all but he gave us a discounted price on the left over sushi since it was our first time there after I asked him about the napkin holder policy. Honestly we would have just went to a different restaurant if we had of known all that previously.
Now the food this is not the quality or type you get any where else locally or out of town I have ever had. Don't know if that's good or bad. Most of the food is childish and over cooked but at the same time some things are well cooked and not heavy as other places. I'm telling you it was weird! The fried sushi was ok it was a little over cooked but still good enough to eat but I wouldn't order again. All the dish type meals that you would get like general gso or things like that were over cooked none of the sauces that normally go on those meals were even close in taste. Definitely different no sauce there was like any spot I've been to previously. Now in contrast things that usually aren't that great at other places were ok here like the crab ragoons were better tasting but no crab or imitation for that matter was inside it just like cream cheese and little bits of something barely but it wasn't over done or old and it tasted decent. The tempura shrimp was very fresh and perfectly fried and not over coated but you only get one per person at a time.
It was different and that might not be bad for you but definitely not for us and we won't go back. We only really enjoyed those two things and the sushi was better than a grocery stores that's the standard there though. If you want to stuff yourself with sushi then yea this place is ok but if you don't eat it all it's a dollar each one left and I'm not talking roll it's per piece.

Koi sushi got new owners. The quality of food has gone down hill so much. The beef teriyaki meat is the worst quality meat Iāve had at a restaurant in awhile. Not only are the pieces of steak smaller but the amount of fat you get on one piece is outrageous. The crispy rice appetizer is bigger but itās 90% rice and half as much avocado. They also no longer have the little mini fish eggs but this gross salmon paste underneath the avocado. My house salad with ginger dressing was gross. Came with brown lettuce and FROZEN dressing. Actual frozen crystallized ginger dressing on brown lettuce. I am extremely disappointed with my experience tonight. Since they opened I have been to koi sushi at least once a month but I am absolutely disappointed with not only the out come of my meal but the quality of all the food since they have gotten new owners. Will not be coming back.

Went here with a party of 6 for the free meal for my friendās birthday and after we ate and asked for checks they said we all had to get the all you can eat sushi when that is nowhere on the posting, there was a disco ball blasting into our eyes the entire time, our waitress did not have very good customer service skills, the drink menu was sitting out when they donāt serve alcohol and on top of that the menus were super dirty. The sushi was pretty good. The fried rice-not so much.

This is my sonās very most favorite sushi restaurant. Iām allergic to seafood. But I can still eat a few really yummy things here. (Gyoza Mmmm) Most of the time he comes and eats by himself. So if you see an adult teen eating by himself at this restaurant, just know that he chose this and that itās because it is his very most favorite sushi and he would rather eat by himself than miss out. Leaving me home alone to eat Ramen out of out an orange plastic bag⦠But thatās OK because I know that he is getting the worldās best sushi at the worldās best restaurant with the worldās best favorite server.
