The food was alright overall. The smash burger was good, but I wasn’t sure if it was supposed to come with cheese. When the waitress brought it out, she asked if I wanted cheese, which made me think it might’ve been missing but wasn't going to send it back since she already brought it out. The potato salad was a bit unusual. I’ve never had one with banana peppers or olives in it, so that threw me off a little. I also ordered a white Moscato sangria, but when it came out, it just looked like straight wine. I ordered it again to double-check, and the waitress said that was their sangria and that only the red version comes with fruit. That felt a little odd to me since I’ve bartended before and always included fruit in sangria, regardless of the type. I did notice it was short staffed on a Sunday. Our waitress was hosting, serving, bartending, expo, and bussing so it was not hard to see they only scheduled or no one decided to come in to work. She did good overall but you can tell that she was busy for a couple of hours. I've worked in the service industry for 16+ years. I felt for her. Not a bad experience, just a few things that stood out.

I love the place. Very nicely decorated and plenty of space. Our server, Mary was very good, friendly, very efficient, and courteous. The food was Awesome, the meatballs were huge, the sauce was pleasing and I being a Pepsi fan was excited that's the product they served. The food came out quickly and was the right temperature, salad was just enough and the garlic bread was good. My husband had the sausage, it was nice to hear it was made in house and my husband was pleased with the flavor. He also got the lemon blueberry cheesecake, YUMMY! I had a bite, definitely recommend. All in all we give it a thumbs up👍and look forward to trying something different next time. Already spreading the word! Thank you, Gusto Dolce for a Awesome dine-in experience!

2 stars only because our server did all points of her job, nothing wrong there, but the food yesterday was awful. Writing this as I’ve been sick all night and day, and ruined my whole Sunday. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad, was out with a friend middle of the day, and didn’t want anything too heavy, how can you mess that up? Well I knew I shouldn’t have eaten the chicken when it came out but I was starving so I did anyway. Was not fresh looking at all, I don’t even know how to describe it but deformed and overcooked but old? I’m not sure exactly, lettuce was not crisp at all, and barely any dressing either. I should have known better when they weren’t making soups that day that things weren’t fresh. My friend was not too impressed with her mushroom pizza either, so I’m not sure if we hit a bad day since the reviews are mostly good, but this is one of the worst experiences out I’ve had in awhile. I haven’t been sick like this in so long, I would not recommend.

I really wanted to like this place because the experience started off well. I went with a friend for lunch on a Friday around 11:45, and to be fair, the service was great and the food was good. No complaints there. Where things completely fell apart was at the end. When we asked for separate checks, we were told there would be a 3% fee for using a credit card. Not ideal, but fine—I went out to my car to grab my debit card to avoid the fee. Problem solved… or so I thought. When I got home, I noticed I was still charged an additional $0.91 fee for using my debit card. Charging a fee on a debit transaction after explicitly stating the fee applied to credit cards is misleading at best and deceptive at worst. It’s a small amount, but that’s not the point—the lack of transparency is. And more broadly, this trend of passing fees onto customers is getting exhausting. If we try to avoid them by paying cash, we’re often told businesses can’t accept larger bills or don’t have change. You can’t have it both ways—either absorb the cost of doing business or be upfront and consistent about how you handle payments. On top of that, this was already a $40 pasta lunch with no added protein, which is hard to justify on its own. Add in unclear fees, and it leaves a pretty bad impression. It’s unfortunate because the service and food were solid, but inconsistent pricing practices like this are a quick way to lose trust. I won’t be rushing back.

We’ve given this place a fair shot. This was our third visit, and unfortunately it just doesn’t feel like you get what you pay for anymore. When it first opened, we were genuinely impressed. The atmosphere was great and the food seemed promising. But each time we’ve come back, the experience has slipped a bit more. A good example is the mozzarella balls appetizer. For over $15, you get a small handful of mini mozzarella balls and a little bit of sauce. It felt underwhelming and definitely not worth the price. That pretty much sums up the overall experience lately. The portions and quality just don’t line up with what you’re being charged. The food in general has been hit or miss, leaning more toward subpar the last couple visits. Nothing terrible, but nothing that makes you want to come back either. Service has also been a bit odd. Not outright bad, just inconsistent and a little off. And then there’s the added 3% charge for using a credit card. In today’s world, that’s how most people pay. It just comes across as another cash grab on top of already high prices. I understand times are tough for restaurants, but there has to be a better way to take care of customers and keep them coming back. Right now, it just doesn’t feel worth it.
