- KBKey BanksMar 17, 20262.0Man it hurts my soul to write this. This is my first visit back in a few months, I was ecstatic pulling in after work with minimal cars in the drive-thru. When I pulled up I didn’t know they separated the drive thru for mobile orders and drive thru orders, it was slightly annoying having to pull around but it wasn’t a big deal. After placing my order and pulling around, I seen some new crew members and based off of chick fil a reputation, I just knew they were going to make the interaction memorable; it was but not in a positive way unfortunately. When my cashier, Lakiel (name on receipt) took my card, he didn’t seem excited to be there, he didn’t small talk and what hurt the most is when I said thank you twice to him, once for handing me my credit card back and once for handing me my order, he had a cold look in his eyes and just said, “Yup”. I didn’t feel welcomed, in that 45 seconds of interaction, it genuinely made me feel disconnected to this establishment, after years of coming here. There’s a new Chick Fil A that’s legit closer to my home in Broadview Heights but I chose to come to the place I’ve always known and I just feel there’s a shift in the client experience. The food tasted over cooked and as if the oil hasn’t been changed. (I worked in the service industry for years and I’m sure the oil hasn’t been changed) Maybe it was just a one off interaction, maybe Lakiel was having a bad day but this interaction makes me want to trust my intuition and to visit the newer location closer to home. Maybe it’s the reason it was built.
