  Place was very clean, staff was super friendly, food was amazing. We both got burgers and I also got a chili cheese dog. Everything tasted great.

  We ordered burgers, fries and tots, so we're no help when it comes to chicken. Wait staff was friendly and welcoming. Thumbs up there. Food was fresh but lacked oomph, especially the burgers. Bun was fine, lettuce and tomato on ours were fresh and the patties were cooked well. They lack flavor though, an absolutely nondescript burger that I assume is better when slathered in sauce and with onion rings on it. The fries were good, nothing to say there. The tots were great, except there was grease in the basket. Seems like a little more "dry" time was needed before serving. Not the end of the world. Overall, it's fine. They're aiming for a middle ground between Wendy's, McD's, etc., and places like Five Guys. Except Five Guys does what they do really well and pack flavor into their limited options. Here, I'm struggling to find a comparison or hook. Maybe we ordered the wrong items, but outside of decent quality of the food, the lack of flavor hurts.

  We decided to give this a try after the other 2 places I went for my wife’s birthday dinner were closed early with no posted change. We got the single cheeseburger box with fries and double cheeseburger box with tots. The pricing was very reasonable, would take it over 5guys most days. The food was prepared relatively quickly. Brought it home to eat. I was a little surprised at the amount of fries given (filled up the box) for an $8 box versus the amount of tots given (looks like 10?) in the $10 double box. Food was good. Decent burger for sure. Would get again.

  If you like Five Guys but don’t want to spend $25 per person, Wayback is an excellent substitute. Imagine if BurgerFi and Wingstop (on the french fry and seasoning side) had a baby, you would have Wayback. Sir Mix-a-lot would love the burgers here because they are real thick and juicy. The fries taste remarkably like Wing Stop’s, which I love. I had the Bourbon burger, which apart from the bourbon mustard (my personal tastes did not care for it - a little over powering), was delicious. Cajun tots very good too (again, seasoning tasted like Wing Stop). Called ahead and had great and accurate service. Food was hot and ready when i walked in. Clean environment. We will be back

  Employees were very nice and efficient. We’re fans of Waybacks having gone to others. That being said the onion rings were good but we both tossed most of our burgers - the consistency of the burgers was like the meat had been pulverized instead of ground. They were like eating mush. I don’t know if it was a mistake or an attempt to make the meat go further. We might try them again, but not right away. Sad because we were really looking forward to the place.
