I’m usually not one to complain—especially since my girlfriend has close to a decade of experience in the restaurant industry, so I understand how things work. That’s exactly why this experience was so infuriating.
The appetizer came out quickly, which briefly gave us hope. That was the only positive. Our kids received their food next, one of them with cold fries, and they were completely finished eating long before we ever received ours. During the excessive wait, there were zero updates, zero communication, and zero effort from staff.
I eventually had to flag down another server just to figure out what was going on with our food—because our own waitress was nowhere to be found. Even that was difficult. I attempted to get the attention of at least three different servers and the manager before anyone acknowledged us. Meanwhile, our waitress repeatedly popped her head out of the kitchen, made direct eye contact with us, and walked straight back in without saying a word. It was awkward, unprofessional, and flat-out disrespectful.
By the time our food finally arrived, we were completely done and immediately asked for to-go boxes, which somehow took another 10 minutes. To make matters worse, when the manager was informed of our dissatisfaction, she looked directly at us and shrugged it off. No apology. No urgency. No leadership.
Yes, a discount was offered, but it felt more like a weak attempt to quiet the situation rather than actually fix it. This was easily some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I would never eat here again—even if it were the last restaurant standing in Saint Mary’s. Save the frustration, spend the gas, and go to Lima instead. This place is an embarrassment.

I am usually not one to complain when going out to eat, as I am a waitress and understand the problems that can arise. After the service and food I just received, I believe this one star is more than generous. This was the worst dining experience of my life. My son and I decided to stop in to grab dinner. I ordered the cauliflower wings and he ordered the sampler platter. After waiting about 30 minutes for our food, the waitress brings our food, but never returns to check on us. Half of my son's food came out wrong, to the point he could not eat it. We waited 15-20 minutes for our waitress to return to let her know. I had completely finished eating, so I got up to find someone. I informed the bartender about the mistake and she we to fix it. After waiting another 10 minutes they finally come back with the correct food. My waitress theb proceeds to tell me "sorry I didnt come to check on you. Im in the back cleaning because the big bosses are coming. I can see if my manager will knock down your price but I bet she wont." So that tells me, the back is disgusting, and they care more about putting a show on for bosses than the customers in the establishment. There were multiple dirty tables throughout the restaurant, with less than a dozen people in the whole thing including me and my son. Im absolutely sickened by the treatment, and quality of food we received. Paid full price on horrible food, and even worse service.

Overall this is the worst experience going out to eat that I’ve had in a very long time. We waited a very long time for our meals after ordering even though the restaurant was not full. The meals were brought out at different times and not brought out as ordered. My boyfriend waited longer to get his food and it came out overly cooked and hard. My kids were not given to correct amount of food ordered but given less. The large fries we split and my own meal was cold. My sisters found hair in her food. While trying to fix the order, the waitress was attempting to do her best but we felt like she wasn’t listening and just walked away multiple times saying they are fighting in the kitchen about our order but she will fix it. She did her best with the situation and we are grateful we got our food but very disappointed in the quality of the meal. We spent almost 2 hours here because of the super long wait and complications. Overall, very disappointed with this experience and meal.
I shared this with the restaurant directly and was contacted quickly and offered a refund. It has now been months of me reaching out about the refund and I have never received it. I have been given the wrong number and ignored. Definitely a disappointment compared to how the restaurant used to be.

Put a pick up order in online 2 hours in advance. Waited 25 minutes past my pick up time before getting my cold food and had to ask for drinks I ordered. No communication no apologies. Rude staff. Never again
