This place is normally pretty good. Good burgers, the pretzels are amazing, and the onion rings are pretty decent. Now let me tell you my recent experience: My pretzel was hard as a brick. It took a surprising amount of skill to bust through the outer crust that resembled the crackled surface of recently cooled lava. As I chewed with ~89% of my might (mind you, I don’t know of anyone who has thought “I’m going to bite down literally as hard as I can; full effort”), I found I briefly pulled by upper jaw muscle. Has that ever happened to you? I didn’t think that was a feasible outcome that could be replicated, and enacted, by the human body. I chewed on, angrily. My onion rings. My poor onion rings. They massacred them; ripped to shreds and naked for the world to peer into the tiny paper bag they come in. Their battered clothing strung about lying underneath and around them, taunting them by closely resembling what they were meant to do, but are in-fact not. For once, I briefly pondered whether the onion would cry in this instance. I couldn’t bring myself to continue the endeavor any longer and quietly placed them back into the much larger paper bag as their semi-final resting place. My tater tots. You wouldn’t believe me if I told you it literally exploded in an almost perfect omnidirectional way more similar to a GBU-43/B. than a deep fried piece of potato shreddings. With a moderate amount of pressure between my fingers, the entire structure gave way and crumbled. It startled those around me. Nearby nails not driven in full depth trembled by the thought of me using the tots as a hammer to finish the job. My hand trembled whilst applying pressure to the tot, unsure of when it would catastrophically fail. The video is not the most impressive one, believe me when I say it was a sphere 2 foot in diameter. 9 out of 10 if it was supposed to do that. No complaints on the burger. Cheese is on the wrong side but lots of people are wrong about that so no points deducted.
