I had not realized that this place subcontracted their delivery to DoorDash, otherwise I would have avoided it (demerit to Donatos). After waiting an hour for a DoorDasher to pick up the order, I'd finished what I was working on and decided to go pick it up myself, as no DoorDashers were biting. I called the store to inform them I would be heading their way. Getting 8 minutes into a 10 minute drive, I receive a text that my order had been picked up and was on its way to be delivered. I contacted the DoorDasher to let them know I'd be heading back. After meeting the driver at the curb of my hotel, they were missing half of my order, shrugging it off as though the restaurant was at fault. I called the restaurant to request the remainder of my order be delivered, but after deliberating it on the phone with the store, I opted to ask them to refund the missing items. This was met with a full refund, for which I am grateful, but ultimately would advise would-be delivery orders be cautioned: This restaurant will likely send you your food via DoorDash, and the owners of this franchise should reconsider their operating practices as it pertains to their staffing for servicing their clientele. TL;DR: Even when cold, the pizza is a'ight, would've probably enjoyed it more if it was fresh and not staled via the DoorDash blight on delivered pizza
- TTTaraNov 2, 20252.0Store very busy about 10 customers standing in the lobby. There was NO acknowledgement from any of the staff for at least 15 minutes. Everyone was behind the wall. That person that did speak to me attempted to look for my order. But then got his deliveries and walked out without saying anything to me.
