That's why discovering Maca Root in downtown Sandusky, Ohio, (a short drive from Cedar Point!) was an absolute game-changer. I've now had the pleasure of dining here twice, and both experiences were fantastic. Maca Root is a dedicated gluten-free establishment, which immediately put my mind at ease. This breakfast and brunch spot truly understands proper eating and provides an array of healthy, flavorful choices. On my first visit, I enjoyed a breakfast wrap that was simply excellent. My second trip brought a delightful salad and avocado toast, equally impressive. Beyond their savory offerings, their dessert/protein balls are a must-try. I've sampled the peanut butter crunch, snickerdoodle, and peanut butter and chocolate varieties. While all three are amazing, the peanut butter crunch is definitely the standout! The atmosphere at Maca Root is wonderfully cozy, and the staff, including the owner, are incredibly welcoming. It's clear they're passionate about providing healthy options without compromising on taste or experience. If you're in the Sandusky area, especially if you're looking for dedicated gluten-free options, Maca Root is an absolute must-visit!

My son got the grilled cheese and loved it. Adorable decor. Owner was fabulous! I wish this place was closer to Salt Lake City. I’d come hear often. Great find!
