- JJJenDec 12, 20251.0December 12 – Very unpleasant experience. Tonight we had a very disappointing experience at Five Guys Powell. The fries had a bad taste, which I had already informed the staff about earlier. I returned them and politely asked for a replacement. After finishing my hamburger, I had to go back and ask about the fries because they were never brought to my table. The female employee working the night shift (around 8:00 pm) questioned me repeatedly before giving me the fries I had already paid for. The fries were not ready on time, no apology was offered, and instead of providing good customer service, she kept questioning what had happened with the fries—despite the issue having already been explained. Overall, the service was poor and unprofessional. This was not the experience I expect from Five Guys

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
