The staff is always friendly and attentive and they serve the best Mexican food in the area. Unfortunately, they are pricing themselves out of our budget. Web sources say $10-$20 per person - never gonna happen. Dinner for two with soft drinks was over $60 after tip. No appetizers other than the chips and salsa, no dessert, no cocktails. The prices have soared over the past few years - more than other places. Example: Cheese sauce that was $0.99 just a few years ago is now $3.49. Three and a half bucks for a spoonful of topping is ridiculous. Then a surprise on the check - a 4% surcharge for using a credit card. That's something new, with no warning on the menu. We enjoyed the meal, but felt like we were price-gouged at every opportunity. Unfortunately, what used to be a regular dinner spot for us will now be a once or twice a year destination. Too bad, because we really enjoy the atmosphere and the food.
